Saw the same thing happen in Mexico. We were at some ruins and a couple guys decided to climb up on some and throw rocks around like a bunch of toddlers. When our tour group chastised them, they acted like we were in the wrong. Needless to say, we didn’t see them board back on the tour bus. None of the guides seemed to really care. @@MollyHJohns It's an old tradition, not in use since 1530 or something, the old American nations, mainly in Mexico and Central America used to rip your heart and offer it to the gods to improve climate or agriculture, etc, and then you would become a lesser god or one with the universe depending on the religion, this obviously ocasionated the fall of some kingdoms or empires since obviously it would not always work and the answer of the religious men was sacrificing more people By 1521 mostly only the Mexica Empire or Aztecs and some other kingdoms used it but it was becoming quite unpopular even before the Spanish arrived, then like 70% of the native population died due to diseases that the Spanish brought and then became slaves of the Spanish until 1821, but are still mistreated by Latin American governments, so that religion ended up disapearing due to the disaproval, right now it's being rescued by Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Peru, since they are the only ones who consider it their culture to a degree without the human sacrifices of course
That is Chichen Itza, I went there in the early noughties and was still allowed to climb it and it was amazing scary and exhausting. This is truth and fact. Seriously. She will spend the rest of her life doing stuff like this, AND she will expect to NOT be held accountable for it. If people DO try to hold her accountable, she will cry out "I've been victimized!" Yes, narcissists are THAT delusional. Yet they breach our perimeter every day climbing our walls & illegally sneaking into our country risking thousands & thousands of childrens lives in doing so as well. U know there's no country that has open boarder. & When Obama was President & Joe Biden was vice president - they had more illegal immigrants deported than any other president/& time in history. 🚩Yet then because of Trump's wall the left decided to tell u all that borders are racist 🤡& so many people regurgitate exactly as they have been told to regurgitate. Then soon as Joe Biden became president, Kamala our vice president held a conference saying "Do NOT come! Do NOT come into our country illegally" . 🤦🏽♀️🤡 But wait what!? Thought borders were racist? They just know how easily their followers forget & believe whatever they are told to believe. It would be odd for a president to be FOR ILLEGAL immigration don't u think? Not to mention "the kids in cages" photos were proven to be from when Obama was President & Joe Biden was vice president. 🤯 Suddenly all the people who were outraged became silent.

In Teotihuacan where the pyramids of the moon and sun are located you are allowed to climb them. I visited there when I was 16 and was one of a number of tourists that climbed. I climbed the pyramid of the sun. Well, I climbed almost half way up. When I was up that far people at the base of the pyramid looked as small as little black ants. I was getting dizzy and since the steps going up were only half the width of a normal sized step we are all accustomed to, I got too shaky to continue going up.
@susanfarley1332

PS. When we were several miles away we could see the pyramid of the sun. We stopped to take a picture but even miles away we were to close to be able to fit it in the viewfinder. I was able to barely fit it by turning my camera diagonally. Another great place to visit is in Oaxaca. Just outside of the city of Oaxaca there is a mountain that had the top of it leveled flat and it has smaller pyramids and various buildings on top of it. They dug up a tomb of perhaps a high priest or something that had a ton of gold jewelry and artifacts. Gorgeous stuff. You can see some in the archeological museum in Mexico City and I believe there is more on display in a museum in Oaxaca. You can buy reproductions of that jewelry. They are either gold or silver gold plated over. No one was forbidden to climb on the pyramids on top of Monte Alban near Oaxaca.
