In tears, she lamented about her plight, saying “even a robot” couldn’t handle what is expected of her. Many Chinese social media users praised the girl for speaking eloquently

She’s that intelligent because of how her parents raised her: always learning and talking to adults such as teachers. That’s why many Asians use this technique to raise their children, even if it seems abusive to western people. But that’s how you create well taught children. The father in this clip probably wanted her to do something else than gaming such as playing outside, a hobby or sports etc. Or he was a jerk and wanted her to study 24/7… which is abusive

@imechko_familia: Probably not, it's not long ago that girls like her wore bandages on their feet to make their toes curl this is crippling them. Probably still do that in the mountains. Civilisation is centuries behind everything that is West of them. A masoginistic enslavement attitude prevails and if you see in her speech, she is appealing to the loved Father side of him, unfortunately it's not there. Simply, the sooner she gets out of that hell hole the better. I wonder what their mental hospitals are like? They probably douse them up with meds and send them back to the universal slave camp called "home" There is no balance this is extreme non-civilisation which is still today thousands of years old, meaning they are thousands of years behind. Sure, they can build stuff and are brainy but not brainy enough to have any empathy - see China? See North Korea, it's basically the same dictatorship with zero understanding or human tolerance . That's is why they worship Chairman Mao, and are fed such icons as: "for the people" "for China" that's why they bomb (even today) Taiwan, which is the real and true Republic of China. Supposedly. Taiwan is a successful country with consolidated production and supply of tech and white goods and their lives and children enjoy a healthy and civilised normality compared to the red Chinese. Why do you think there are so many Chinese in the West ? Because they wanted to get the f- out off there...!!🤯 They bomb Taiwan, they fire on Tibet, and nobody knows what they are doing, they just feed their Chinese people like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed on bs. I feel sorry for children like this young lady and I hope she manages to get away sometime soon. Her father is so not worthy of such an admirable daughter. .........And, his daughter does not deserve such an ao of a crapola Father, which he is. And the saddest thing of all is that she actually loves her dad and tries to reason with him with respect that he does not deserve. I hope she finds friends and happiness and manages to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. I wonder what the suicide rate for kids of her age is in China today. I bet you a hundred quid - they would always blame the child. It's a sick, sick society over there. Look at The Tiananmen Square protests, massive army tanks against unarmed students, who were no doubt protesting against all of this crap themselves. But, hey, that's a Dictatorship ☮️ No wonder they are backward, they stifle natural growth.

My husband worked at an after school Korean school. The children would arrive an hour after school let out (3:30 pm) and study debate until 8 pm. These poor children were under a tremendous amount of pressure from their parents and were on the verge of a mental breakdown. My husband gave all the students full credit just for attending class. He would schedule one day a week to just have fun but it was extremely important that neither the school nor the parents didn’t find out. These children were between the ages of 10 and 13. We decided that all we wanted of his children was to behave and be happy. Raising a happy adult was more important to us than his children getting good grades as long as they gave education their best effort.

I grew up the same. In China you cannot play for too long. If you do, you get left behind. We are too many, the competition is too strong. If you rest and play for too long, somebody else who doesn't and has greater resilience towards studying will get ahead, while you'll be left behind. As much as I remember feeling the same like this little girl during my childhood, I would not allow my children to play for too long either if I was still living in China. There the gov doesn't help you, one doesn't have the security felt in the westen countries, you are basically on your own. It better be a well trained "your own", otherwise you don't stand a chance in chinese society. Most people in the west will not educate their children like that. I'm not doing it either since my kids are growing in the west. But if I was living in China, no matter how much my kids would cry for free time, they will only have the free time that I allow, and that will be very little by my own understanding of what constitutes success in China. I know that later on my kids will not get ahead in life because of the free time they've had, but because of the work they had to do. It's a rigged system, you can't rest for too long, if you don't play the game, work and excell, you will get nowhere in China. Outside of China there is more freedom and one can do what one wants, inside of China there is no freedom and you will do as you're told, regardless of how much you cry. This is what my dad told me when I was little. So then I reasoned I wanted no longer to live in China. Now I enjoy more freedom and my children do too! People from the west who see this clip must understand that this girl's situation is common place for almost every child educated in Chinese society. The way the gov rules the country is the same way we rule over our children. They scrictly must obey, or else... A sad system I would say, now that I know any different.

@@mynameiseden6127I’m a Chinese student. While the person above is right about the education system in China, I just want to say that the parents are still strict. But sadly it’s normalised because people are forced to be this way so their children can survive in our society. But just because we live in a different environment doesn’t mean that things always have to be this way and are right to be this way. You can have free time, what truly matters is the time management. And I believe a good mind comes with a balance between work and rest. The parents are still strict, but yes, there is a good reason to it, and I don’t see that things would change in the next few decades…

The internet has a lot of information for people to find quotes. It isn’t wisdom but learnt knowledge. Wisdom is something deeply developed through overcoming their own ordeals through the many steps of griefs with in the end accepting those mistakes. But the little girl is still too young to be called wise. Knowledge, intelligence, and Self Empathy is all it takes to develop her own understanding towards her needs to convince or convey. Like intelligence, wisdom itself can vary even for geniuses. It’s unique to all people as it has their own perspectives.

@@hrzn202 True, indeed. She used it at the right time. But that is based on her ability to retain knowledge and understand the situation. She truly understands the meaning of those words through gaining the information through internet sources, but wisdom is gained through experience in living with a deeper understanding. While intelligence is accumulated information through the mind. It is practically intelligence that she is displaying which is fundamental to every living organism especially when she is human. In short, it’s intelligence that is the main factor for her knowledge whilst wisdom at a fundamental level is another factor for her understanding. In an ordinary person’s dictionary, she’s a wise child but to us she’s not too extraordinary in terms of wisdom. She still has a lot to live for before she’s even free from those desires. The desire causes conflict to wisdom. It’s too farfetched to call a child wise when their full of desire. I wouldn’t call myself wise either way as I am still conflicted in this life. Maybe in the far future everyone will achieve that wisdom depending on how they perceive their own pain to walk forward in fulfilling their desires. Perhaps, fulfilling your lesser desires, and your ultimate desire is the key to freeing oneself from samsara. Life is still a mystery, it doesn’t matter whether we judge others or not. In the end, we’re all the same seeking for the truth, subconsciously. My apologizes for my off topic. Hahaha.😅

Do you really think this child would be able to articulate and express herself THIS well in polite manner if her parents were bad not ever allowing her to play. They have obviously given her so much and want her to do well in life. She will Be super grateful when she grows up that she didn’t waste her childhood on stupid useless games.

Lots of these discussions - are mostly framed the wrong way - For Tiger parents - The question is - would you do this to your own childhood - one extra language , music lessons , dance classes . at least one sport , extra homework tutoring - till you only had an afternoon free only per week - Who would wish this on themselves! - Same when asking rights questions - do you think very ill people should have assisted end of life - when the question should be do you think YOU should have the right to choose assisted end of life. Just because your life isn't everything you want it to be - don't live vicariously through your children. For myself I loved my winter sport - was happy to have summer free of sport - my piano lessons didn't last too long - but they were fine - Kind of wish I could play an instrument better- thankfully I was always going to do well academically - as a kid really enjoyed some school projects/homework - eg a nature study of local pond life- but that was my doing - my parents pretty hands off - except idea I could achieve what I want - they were working class - but going to Uni was so obvious from an early age for me . Also now for kids more ways to succeed - yes before in some countries - limited well sought after government jobs , or entry to highly desirable Universities was very hard

@@xmyxymxShe's ONLY articulating this because she's been pushed to the limit of not being allowed to play.

I am saddened by the distress of this child. She is clearly & politely spoken & deserves to be heard. I hope the parents get it, or they will ultimately lose her as an adult.

The last thing she said kind of could be translated to what you ended with in your comment. Cherish my childhood or lose me as an adult

You are legally required to take care of your parents when they're old as an adult.

One has to give credit to the dad for raising such a strong articulate polite compelling child…and for him listening to her patiently… I don’t think I have ever spoken for so long with my dad in my entire life…
