Have owned bm's since 71 Have had over 12 examples currently have 4 different models Check your guibo plus steering rack almost half of mine leaked 72 2002 73 3.0cs 79 320i 85 635 euro clean euro bumpers no park bench here All a/c all manual transmission No B.S junk yard engine upgrade Just totally all original BTW !!! tail lights for 6 series are same part number as M1

Found a red one in my neck of the woods, gonna go pick it up in a few days...even have the M-parallel wheels stacked up in the corner for another BMW project (E38) torn apart in my garage right now.

If the price is right and you’re not afraid of the work, check it for rust and mechanical/electrical condition and go for it!

yea that’s a nice one ! i had an ‘89 635 csi Red/Tan with Automatic. I would probably still have the Car if it was a Manuel Transmission.

Most from 84 on were 5sp Also don't let belt break definitely no brakes or steering and always change your guibo every couple of years

That’s the flex joint between the transmission and driveshaft.

It’s safe to say yes as I have long legs but am 5’10” myself.

I'm 6 foot, have had my 6, 35 years and there is plenty of room. You may need to move seat forward a bit. Passenger has tons of leg room.
