Great job casting Turin and great games players. I think it would be good if CA made it so that it was more obvious when a point isn’t fully capped so it’s easier for players to tell at a glance. The little bit of green is really hard to see.

I love that bit of WoW lore and it's an apt analogy here. But I can't help but feel that Dwarfs in WH are more like cracking an egg to get to that thin second membrane and the value it holds. This is w/out seeing the particular bit that inspired this so I'm reserving a spot to change my mind, cause I think the new slayers stuff will throw a wrench in my analogy.

Bretonnia sending the unwashed peasents and calling the knights afterwards once the frontline is engaged is lore accurate and a good domination strategy. Still I wonder if it would be a good idea to give non knight units a -8 leadership penalty if all the knights are routing or off the battlefield. After all the peasants would obviously flee immediately as soon the knights are gone according to the lore.

Fun fact Turin they fixed the Dreadquakes fire at will bug

when your landship has an engine failure and it starts to accelerate out of control, you will be glad to have an anchor.

There HAS to be a replay dedicated to Lord ChickenFeed Dawi comeback against Kislev g2, that was such a good game!

What changed with this tournament that the delay between games was almost non existent? Replays? Love it. Feel that’s one of the biggest downsides to tw multiplayer sometimes as much as turin makes it work so well regardless. Great Stream Turin

Replays, yeah. Normally it's live. I much prefer live, but it does take forever between matches, unless you pre-arrange

I think Turin has done one or two tournaments where the audience picks the coolest/fluffiest army and that player wins a prize too. Something like that might really encourage players to calm down a bit with the hardcore builds.

It'S CA's fault in their balance patches they almost always just nerf the most overused units when it's the rest of the roster that needs buffs alot of the time. can't blame people for trying to win.

I agree that you can't blame people for trying to win if there is actual prize money up for grabs. But in casual tournaments, I wish the more seasoned players would consider that in the long run, using more interesting builds = more interesting games = more viewers = more prize money.

Giants are not unbreakable in Total war because they have never been until TOW, and the game is based in 8th edition. There is no point in comparing them.

Is there any chance of increasing the bitrate of future streams? As the video becomes very blurry as soon as the camera moves. Otherwise awesome stream!

That empire vs druchi match is definitely a match of the year contender. Well played to Housecat of war and Hitman hippo. Truly epic match. And I have to agree with you Turin, the appearance of the landslip coming out the woods was an incredible moment. That was like the climax to an epic movie

@@Weberkooks Yeah, I agree. without even knowing a ton about the pvp scene I can see how it dominates some match-ups pretty hard. I think when it's inevitably nerfed though it should have more tactical aspects added to it to compensate.

Wow some great games. The capture points opening earlier makes a big difference. Big fan of the saved replay set up

Watching that empire vs gs game was rough, definitely have to go heavy on the cav if you're gonna go wide empire and never give a good waaagh (Pistolier + grenadiers + Knights) although new multi shot might be worth it), if you wanna stand and fight, flags to eat the waaagh charge (fearless) then counter charge with Greatswords and death magic (aspect of the dread knight is slept on in this match up, adds magical attacks (gets through the savage orc Phys resis), leadership, causes fear + terror, chuck that bad boy on the land ship for 4 WoM or empire knights) and spirit leech for GS lord sniping if you have the money soulblight during a waaagh and fighting in a taller formation, definitely a tech for the GS but any empire players still struggling vs that match up try those its not an easy match up but empire always had the tools with the new toys i agree with turin i think empire will become a top 3 faction once everyone figures out the nitty gritty tech switches for every MU

It feels good to watch a high-level tournament for Total War Warhammer 3 again. I came to the channel for Total War Warhammer, stayed for AOE4 and Spice Wars, but this feels good. Glad the game is in a better place now.

Format of the tournament allowed them only to be played once per stream, and not as a mirror!

How does it feel to finally have your empire be meta/strong!? Haha steel faith and gunpowder finally getting its day in the sun. Haha

HouseCatOfWar failed to cap at 1:40:05 4m43s into the game and held the point till the end of the game. HitmanHippo got around 750 points from that point over the course of the game and around 400 points in the time between the failed cap and HouseCat moving to take the point at the 11 minute mark

I'm a huge Empire enjoyer, but I gotta say that match between Empire and Delfs was sad in how it turned out. HouseCat didn't blunder once, he blundered twice. He failed to fully capture the 3rd objective, and once he realized, he made another mistake bee-lining his infantry towards it. He could at that stage have won on two points and did not need to triple cap the empire. Should have played defensively on the first and second objective. Though I say 'blundered' I feel like the UI is more to blame than anything else instead of the player. CA should implement better visual cues of who controls what points and how much time you have remaining.

Replay is still fuzzy at 1440, anyone else having this problem?

Tripled for regular and brimstone gyros ( from 4 up to 12 models) and quadrupled for gyro bombers (1 up to 4)

Feels like STeam Tanks really should be a bit slower, factions without artillery seems to have no realy way of dealing with them

Are there any other tournaments that are NOT played in domination mode? Every time I see a new tournament on the Turin's channel I get excited and then I'm completely disappointed that it's domination. I appreciate your work Turin, but for me personally this mode is just boring.

That second to last game, Dont you dare feel bad for the greenskins, they have been a tyrant on multiplayer for a long time, they deserve to fear the landship.
