While I’m not happy when people fail I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who struggled with today’s connections. Was definitely a tough one for me. Also, for Wordle, there wouldn’t have been a 2 e’s since when you guessed peeve only one e was green. There would’ve been a 2nd e that was yellow or green. Great video as always 😄

The NORMAL outstanding player will sometimes have his/her bad days in these games. You have your good and bad days in life as well.

@@christiana6018 Art does that a lot when he guesses multiple letters for placement. He forgets that it also tests for how many of that letter is in the word.

COMMUNITY is a sitcom about community college students. I haven't seen it but I've heard of it enough that seeing the word pop up immediately gave away the theme to me.

I excelled at strands today…. Destroyed by connections (o correct)

I got wordle in 3, umber, stage, scent. Very lucky on this. Strands was fun, but I've never heard if community either Connections was so hard. Hardware, baseball pitches, bathroom things, to flee quickly, fishing stuff, ____ball. I barely solved this puzzle.

Oranje made it look so easy.

Chase-scent. Only got the yellow on connections. Strands got them all but got the spangram second.

Wordle in 25 seconds: UMBER SCALE SCENT

Forgot how multiple letters are colored. Because only one of the E's was lit up in PEEVE, there could only be one. 4 in Wordle, Connections killed me. needed one hint halfway through strands.

Oranje and some of the other unusually outstanding players will continue to excell at all these games despite the difficulty of them. Most of us live on the planet Earth. 😂

UMBER STALE SWEPT SCENT. What were you doing trying two E's later on Art when you'd found there was only one after PEEVE?! Connections i got with two errors, theres a lot of overlaps and red herrings. Strands was OK but I've never heard of Community

Wordle in 4 UMBER STAGE SPENT SCENT Connections: Made one really dumb mistake (I didn't realize "Nail" was a word there, that could go into the Yellow category. Totally overlooked it), but got all the categories. Got them in under 5 minutes too. Strands: Much better than yesterday. Back to a perfect score again. Spangram first, under three minutes, no hints, etc. It genuinely irks me when I can't a perfect score in that game. Especially, if I have to use a hint. I consider using a hint, in Strands, a "Total Fail" (at least, for me personally).

I was fine in Wordle and Strands.

Somehow got the strands without a hint even though I've only heard of Friends and Cheers (which were broadcast in the UK). Bewitched (or B*witched) is a pop group. It was just finding random words (what on earth is Veep, got that because those four letters were isolated). 4 for the Wordle: UMBER-SPOKE-STEAL-SCENT. Random Es and Ss are worse than nothing at the start! That connections was horrible. The customary unintelligible Americanism ("lightning bug", glow worm in UK- and it's more often "lightning conductor" here than "rod"). Two bad red herrings (the ball one which others have noticed, plus airstrike, airline, air dryer). For me "bolt" goes with washer, screw, nut much more obviously than nail does- I dont know about other countries but here they are on the same thing, while a nail is totally different.

Connections wasn’t just hard but poorly designed IMO. There were multiple possible correct solutions based on the words provided.

I call them "fireflies", but my husband calls them "lightning bugs". Strands #109 “They're good for a laugh” 🟡🔵🔵🔵 🔵🔵🔵 I also looked for COMEDIAN, COMEDY, etc. first. Nice span of years for the sitcoms. I am old enough for BEWITCHED. 🙂I never heard of COMMUNITY either, but it had to be.
