Dora's already posted a wonderful explanation for the meaning of frame game, so i'll only point out that a turkey is three strikes in a row, so it's the absolute opposite of missing all the pins. Interestingly both you and Remo made the same mistake.

In bowling, a single turn each player takes is called a frame. There are 10 frames in each game.

Because I like my bowling, I EASILY had a 10 in Strands. A turkey is 3 strikes in a row, Art. I was also fine in Wordle and Connections. 😊

I seldom get the gutter balls and was surprisingly able to get the 7-10 split once in my life. I have had some 200 games, but never a 300. I am one to throw a straight ball and not a curve ball. Some of the really good bowlers use the curve ball to their advantage, Ellen. 😊

Thanks for taking on my challenge tomorrow Art i hope everyone else is happy with it! For the last colour Wordle (thanks Melanie) i got ZEBRA CRASH SITAR which left only SAVOR. Stumbled through Strands got connections no mistakes but couldn't work out what the purple category was and i dont feel bad about that , it was pretty obscure as far as as im concerned.

Great job on the clocks Art !

ROBIN-VOTER-SAVOR The silent K was actually the last one I got but as soon as I saw it I knew you would get it first lol… and agreed that TALK and TICKET were a bit weak for their categories.

I'm okay with TALK, because it's used that way in crime dramas all the time. (For example: "You better not talk.") TICKET feels weak to me.

Wordle in 4 (I wouldn't expect anything less, at this point. This was a great challenge though. Thanks Melanie!) ZEBRA STAIR SUGAR SAVOR Connections: Everything except for the order. I thought that "Silent K" would be Purple cause it's word play, and "Key to Success" would be Blue because it's related words. If I switched those, I would've had a perfect score. Strands: Perfect score again! Saw "Bowling" almost immediately, and finished the whole thing in less than 2 minutes.
