And, if Labour are in office, you can bet your life that the Daily Fail and the like will be claiming they're not living up to their promises only a couple of weeks after the election. The Tories have always been best at dismantling and disrupting the services and the structures of the UK, leaving Labour to clear up the mess. And, clearing up somebody else's mess before getting on with the work of reconstruction isn't easy. Every Tory administration since WWII has left the economy in a worse state that when they took office. And that's a fact.

The simplest way to answer this is: Is the tax burden at record levels? Are you better off after 14 years? The answer, I suspect, it's, "Yes' and "No". The tax spin from the tories must be challenged every time. The PPE scandal shows they can't be trusted.
