I have my note 8 for 1 week and i just learned some options that i haven't tried because of this video! thanks!

Great video. By chance do you know how I can take clear motion pictures? I take alot of pictures of my 1 year old son and hes always moving resulting in blurry pictures. I heard adjusting the shutter speed may help but I haven't managed getting better results even when using pro mode

You just need to go to settings from the camera and click off..Review pictures.

I am a construction contractor, my Note 8 thin case has a magnetic back. It goes everywhere. Gets knocked off on concrete, tile floors, falls off the tailgate, ends up in the hot tub, toilet, you name it. I run my business still from it. It takes great pics/videos, runs any software/apps I want with no lag. After 5+ years now of heavy daily use, there is slight screen burn in. It also would be petty to complain about the battery life being diminished after 1,700+ days of use. Samsung built an amazing smart phone that 100% met my harsh demands. And it continues to do it, with it's head held high, year after year. 👍

Switching 2x from 1x is still digital zoom actually. You may see the EXIF of the "2x" photo, it uses F1.7 which is made in wide angle lens only. The 2nd 2X tele lens would only be used in "Live Focus" mode. Its a bit tricky.

How do I get the front camera

Is it possible to shoot a video with Bokeh effect (blurry background) in Samsung Note 8. I know we can take photos with Live Focus for teh same but what about videos? Please guide

Why is it that many of the actions you take don't work for me? For example, I can't Slide the shutter button to zoom. And with the front facing camera, I only get 3 modes- selective focus, photo, and video. Beautification tools- how do you make them come up? Do you have a video that shows these tools in detail that includes how to get the options to be visible. Do I need to get the camera in default mode (as it was when I bought it many years ago?) How to do that?

+Sohil Sanghvi live focus mode requires more light and usually is not recommended in low light conditions. So, that could be the issue with your photos.

Bcos the lens (so called tele lens) used in Live Focus mode is only F2.4, which capture less light than that by the wide angle lens, in low light condition, so thst ISO is pushed higher which creates more noise in the photo.

Hi can someone tell me how to turn off burst shot in note 8 , i used to hold down shot button to perfect my photo like before ,but now whenever i hold down the shot photo button it take burst shot and it annoy me :( and seem like there no way to turn it off

+Cali4nium the look is controlled by the theme. I have a theme called Martian installed from Samsung Themes. You could try other themes which could have their own look for the navigation bar.

Chaks Corner Yes...like when you are in other country...the bixby vision is a virtual ..live map...just point the camera to a building or a sign and will translate it and you can make the vision to lead you to a specific zone...and all of this are using camera.

You can set it up in the Camera Settings. However, it might also depend on your region. This is the default setup in the US phones. I have heard that if you are in India for example, the pressing the double button twice will call the emergency services.

Not really. Only newer phones have the wide angle capability.

You have to edit the picture to crop them. Tap on Edit and you should have those options in the bottom.

@@Mazgic oh no! I'm so sorry. Yes mine still does great aside from a slightly shortened battery life, but nothing too bad. I'm just waiting for the Note10+ to lower in price to hopefully buy it.
