Coming from an iPhone for the last few years, I am absolutely blown away by all the options, features, and customization on the Samsung Note 8. Apple doesn't even come close.

That 'Home screen only' option will be very useful for people coming from Apple to Samsung. They thought about it. Well played Samsung...well played. 👏👏👏🤘

Finally widgets on lock screen are back with the S8/Note8. I remember using them with my S4.

I want to disable the edge lighting that also periodically appears on certain apps, especially games and will zoom into the screen and disrupts my play . It also has a symbol that looks like a person with outstretched arms in the lowe lower right that I want removed. Please help.

I'll get the note 8 and I have a question. Can I change the function that I can swipe instead of click (like the iPhone x/xs/xsmax) a friend has a s9+ and she can change it in the settings but can I do it on the note 8?

Even though I just bought a note 20 ultra, I find myself going back to re-visit the note 8 and now 10 +. One of my favorite phones ever was the Galaxy note edge, a true edge phone. It always garnered so much attention from everyone that saw it. It had the edge-view case, so the edge was not covered. Saki has the best tutorials. Samsung should hire him as a trainer.

Is it for note 8 only? There's no CREATE APP PAIR option on my S8 plus.

I love my Note 8. I haven't stop tweaking it since I got it. This is by far the best purchase I have made and the best phone I have ever owned. For those who talk about the battery issues I haven't had a battery issue at all. It hasn't dropped below 50% and that was when I was using it for a while. NO PROBLEMS WITH BATTERY LIFE!

Lucky you. I ordered mine using the Note7 former owners discount on Samsung website. I guess I'll get it on the 15th, hopefully.

I just got this phone (9/18) and I do not get a list of content for Always On, nor the three dots in the upper right to take me to Samsung store. I just did an update of this feature... I wonder if I need to shut the phone down to install it. I'll be back.

That was just awesome, I changed the things I liked especially the way the digital clocked displayed, I hated the the 2 numbers on top of each other. Now, tell me if I am wrong, but can I add more apps to the home screen? I don't have the number of apps you want on the homw screen. How can I add more apps to the home screen?
