Could you make something on take downs with the new leg touching rule in ne waza
Thanks for great video
Great analysis
great ippons, was really nice to watch
Excellent work .. always enjoy your content
Thanks for the video
LA Smiths grip at 3:20 is a Modified Wizard grip which is great in Gi for throwing if you get stuck on the outside.

It’s not called a wizzer?
Спасибо. Отличные броски,отличная нарезка.
What's the difference between sode tsurikomi goshi and osoto gari? Like I'm referring to Belgian Casse @0:25 and the Azerbaidjanian Kokauri @2:20. Is it that in the first one the opponent ended up on his hip on the side? To me it looked like both tried osoto gari but the opponent just resisted a bit different. Is it like judging by what really happened versus what they were doing or trying? Some of these uchi matas are so weird that I wouldn't even recognize them without someone saying it's uchi mata and then I see the leg between legs and still don't recognize it as uchi mata. I've been thinking for a few days who is that guy. It's Portugal's Fonseca. I remember him from some olympic games I watched and he definitely stayed in the back of my head as someone noticeable and perhaps worth keeping an eye on.
brutal!
nice video, first one seems more like tiatoshi to me but whatever looks great
Great
Thanks for the video! Wasn't the headplant at 4:50 supposed to be illegal? I'm getting confused with the rule changes each Olympic cycle.

Yeah I’m confused too

Maybe because he also had his forearm on the mat it wasn't just the head and therefore not illegal.

@@ca1498 Maybe. It would be great to know how an official ref would explain it.

As far as i know it's only illegal if u hit the mat straight with your forehead first and then roll over. He instead turned his head to the side and initiated the rotation before he touched the mat.

@@muffinpanda4050 Interesting! Thanks for the answer.
Que bueno es Casse, por favor
We need this veido with music

To my knowledge "Ipponseoinage" does not exist but Ipponzeoi without nage.
Good ippons, most of them with great technique. However, if Tori hits the mat with the head, in my opinion, he shouldn’t be awarded an ippon.

Why not?

Because, I think, losing your balance and landing on your head after the throw gets the same score as doing a clean throw and finishing standing (or on the mat) but in a dominant position. It is just the opinion of someone who practiced (and competed) as a child 40 years ago, but still loves the martial art/sport.

@@abclatrampa9899 a lot of the time it is on purpose though. Look at Ono Shoheis Uchimata for example

I agree with you. Landing on the head is dangerous and should not be rewarded
The turnover at 4:32 is called a cow catcher in folk style wrestling. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dayD16Zyetm6m9Y.html

Sherazdishvili got ripped off against the Korean. Threw him twice for scores that were not counted.
