    Most of the times people drop on their knees as soon as they get the grips (doesn't matter how akward they are) just to show the judges they are being active while in reality they have zero intention to throw. I wish they would make it easyer to get penalized for false attack.

    When i competed years ago locally i always thought the refs broke the newaza way too fast and i think they still do. Give them a chance to work a bit.

    This cham,pionship show us a bad judo, lutte no judo...except some ippons but never a veritable judo..I am very disapointed

    Just started Judo. At an age of 30 im a slow learner 😂 any tips where I can focus on? The Tani Otoshi works pretty well as a surprise to most of my sparring partners.

    Avoid throws that rely on gravity for now. They’re easy to pick up

    Il y a des champions africains sub-sahariens . Mon cul , ils jouent pour la France ! Ah , j'avais cru que seuls les athlètes noirs qui courent en tricolore . Enfin , l'équipe africaine (française) de football , n'est plus à la mode , c'est devenu banal .

    the ippon came from Hajiyev. We call that trick deh-yeer-mahn in Azerbaijan, which is a word for wind-mill.😀😀

    I’m not necessarily weak against my favorite techniques. I’m weak against really good judoka’s favorite techniques! 😅 I remember the great US judoka Paul Maruyama (my coach), over several weeks, committing serial “kari-ashi” (foot sweep) crimes against me until I started paying attention to where my feet were. It pretty much hardened me to foot sweeps thereafter… Major (USAF) Maruyama was an outstanding coach and a very tough man. Every once in a long while he would smile…faintly. 😊
