LeoN is like top 20. And in notable set counts they didn't mention he beat Nairo before but they show him losing to him!? He also beat Light, Marrs, Dabuz.. And Kameme i think. Also beat Tea winning a B tier tournament recently. ALSO where is his 2nd place Finish at *Defend the North 2019* ??? He made Grand Finals with Maister or someone but i think that was the tourney Mkleo lost to Marrs... There were many notable players there it was at least C tier if not higher!!

It happened just a few days ago and it was won by Samsora, but players like Dabuz, Light, Mr.E and Marss were present in this tournament as well. Leon got second defeating Light, Marss and double eliminated Dabuz and only lost to Samsora all tournament

Pretty early in the metagame though. I'm interesting to see how more crossover with Japan and the US will end up affecting the rankings. Ex: Abadango does amazing in the US, while Zack has a reputation as a Japan slayer.

Abadango and Mr.R seems to be in a character crisis. Mr E has to adapt to Lucina's consistency than Marth's precision. CaptainZack really wants to stick with Bayonetta as much as he can. Ultimate is a different game with engine, meta, and mechanics. But for example if Mewtwo and Sheik are ever buffed...with their hard work...it's over.

I believe it was off stream during frostbite. Besides MVD quit the set since they had it going on during the crew battle so it was too noisy and he got annoyed

I thought Leffen was gonna make it on PGR tbh. He placed 9th at Ultimate Nimbus, 13th at Pound 2019 (beat ZD and LingLing), 17th at Genesis 6 (beat WaDi and Seagull Joe), and 7th at Valhalla 2. Leffen placed top 20 at an S tier event and A tier event. Leffen has taken games off players like MkLeo, Gluttony, and Yeti.

eim who was the 4th best Japanese player in smash4 , who was also a Sheik main like Mr.R , is nowhere to be seen on the pgr . He is like the 120th seed for EVO . However yesterday he won Toryumon ( a weekly tourney in Japan ) with his new main , Joker . We might even see a really early upset against Nairo at EVO , seeing how he is playing so well recently . Ken also the 1st or 2nd best Japanese player from smash 4 had a bad start with ultimate due to the major character nerf to Sonic . But recently figured things out and has been dominant , being easily top 5 in Japan . So I would say , give Mr.R some time . I think he would climb up the ranks if he finds he characters that clicks with him

X Factor is basically a Panel of 30 players and their opinions of a randomized Top 50. So basically the get the whole list of the Top 50 and decide who get's what place depending on how well known they are basically. That's why Ryuga has a -17 at 33rd. + means a higher ranking, - meanings a lower ranking.

DEAD WOOPER, you have a poor understanding of how the PGR works lol. It accounts all players not just top 50. He will basically be shadow ranked. They will have him ranked in the algorithm but he himself will not be on the ranking.

Ratio of wins doesn't matter as much as who you beat for their formula this list. Beating most likely top 10-15 players like MkLeo, Cosmos, Nairo, etc. boosted some players like Leon and others especially.

I don't remember who but one of the guys beat two potentially top 15 people one time and lost the other 10 times to 5 of the others, placed sorta high at one tournament and gets top 50 in the world? iithevikingii that’s how hard getting top8 at a major. The win ratio is counting matches only against other top50 players.They are 31-40. It’s weird if all of them have like 70%win rate over players above them.

@@user-cs6sl5wh8v I realize it's hard. I'm not saying that they need to be perfect but it's top 50 IN THE WORLD, and they can't place top 8 in one tournament? I also realize they aren't gonna have the best win rates vs other top players but it should be better than 20 percent for top 50 in the world. Attendance should also matter. Most of the people so far have only been to maybe 4 or 5 tournaments. They should've just waited to have more stats to do this in my opinion.
