Atleast it ain’t the second gen, the most ugliest gen.

I love the look of pelican cases on top of a Tacoma, they’re so versatile with how much more storage options they give you.

The slimline 2 is the newer model that came out after this video was posted, it’s a bit lighter and more versatile than the model in this video

Great review but for one. Wish you had included a comparison of unloaded rack wind noise at several different speeds. Why? Because most of us use our Taco as a daily driver, and with limited vacation time and $ resources most will only use the rack as intended for a few days or weeks each year. Most of the time driving it unladen. I have come across several who removed their racks, 1 mentioned here, because of the wind noise annoyiance driving everyday from home to work and back.

too bad its christman and all my money was spent on bills. this would make a great evacuation truck for hurricane season i wish i could find a roof rack for my 1st gen Sequoia. im at the point of diy the thing. partly because of cost, other part is cause of design or lack there of
