Since your truck is decked out perfect already, just trade with me and you can start over with a basically stock truck. Think of all the new videos you could make modifying a virgin taco. It's a win win brother!

Armor and recovery options should always be the first things added to a 4X4. Excellent video!
Love the vid! I definitely like the end of video reference to the products again (spelled out) for all the newbies!!

Awesome video, never was a truck guy but for some reason I want one now, and I really want to get a Tacoma idk why but just think it’s a sweet truck
Beautiful setup
I just got my first Taco two days ago. Second car I've had in my 38 years on this Earth. 2017 TRD Sport. Love it. Can't wait to modify it with these upgrades!

Yes but not to far out I would really look into what fits your needs I do a lot of off road and this is my first truck I’ve ever owned so these are my first ever rock sliders I’ve owned so there might be better ones out there for you but my friend has the same ones as well and it ended up saving his life in a really bad car accident

But to be honest any kinda protection on your truck is a great investment and to be honest it’s an upgrade from cheap plastic and if you are keeping your truck for 20 plus years I say protect that investment but I hope I can help Chief
I don’t know about a CBI front bumper but the best purchase I made on my second gen before selling it to my brother was the ARB bumper and it saved his/my old truck from being totaled. I think the front bumper is the priority
Great advice! Perfect video for new Taco owners.

Yeah very nice but, appears to be very expensive truck you got their sir. First mod I did was falken wild peaks at3w tires, still haven't replace magnum steel steps yet debating whether to just cut off the step area and just beef up the rest off the step for durability and more function, and or invest in some real sliders lol,a pair of some max tracks, my 17 tacoma trd ordc short bed is already equipped with oem rear locker love it and installed on board arb comp. Inside the bed cubby, and I've installed hi-c century camper, only thing I'm looking to invest in the future would be possibly front lockers, winch, maybe a lift kit also possibly some undercarriage armor, and last but not least a supercharger. Either do all these upgrades onto my taco, or might just trade it in and get possibly tundra and fix that up a bit. But will what the future holds lol. Thanks again for the great video sir
The bumper guard is great protection for deers too. North of Cali, going towards Tahoe, there are a lot of deers. Sad to say but it does work.

@@tacomabeast TY, but those are the Ditch light brackets. I’m talking about the chase light brackets on the cbi overland bed rack. The clamp on to the round bars
I’m curious how much weight all that stuff adds and how much it effects fuel economy. Did you need to re gear your Tacoma aswell? Looks like a sick build man!
Hey how is your supercharger doing I have one and I think it needs tuned better did you do anything different to yours
Does the bar on this bumper affect the front sensor?
hey man, can you do a video about all your mods on that beast? if you already made one please send me the link/name.
I'm still amazed your air bags didn't go off when you ran your front bumper into the ground. Having those go off in the middle of the west desert would really suck!
There used to be a weekly show on t.v. called Green Acres . There was a guy on there named Mr Haney he was a traveling tool salesman and drove a truck with a bunch of junk hanging off of it . That reminds me of your truck .

This is gonna hurt but you need to hear it, because i learned it the hard way by trying to upkeep a lifted 4x4 jeep YJ. Just keep your tacoma as reliable as it can get. Invest all your money into something that can help you get a better career. Such as a trade school or some college, then keep your head in the game.
Seriously man what is your mpg on that thing? My trd pro is 15 - 16 what would it be if i built it like that??
im planning to get a 2022 manual tacoma trd pro.. will the manual transmission be able to hold all these weight? with the lift and the big beefy tires?

Damn please clean that truck! lol
So if I was to put 35” tires on my Tacoma TRD off-road would it make much of a difference if I had a 5 ft pick up bed rather than a 6ft for an overall best overland off-road driving experience and handling? I’m asking because I’ve learned that a longer wheel base is more beneficial when rock crawling over large boulders
I would like to know brands of the weels and tire and the size😊
@tacomabeast

Wheels are method 317: tacomabeast.com/products/317-standard-matte-black-titanium?_pos=1&_sid=f56fad1ff&_ss=r and the tire size is 35”
Unless an engine swap is performed and also a solid front axle swap I just don’t see the words “Tacoma” & “Beast” belonging together in the same sentence. I can say this because I’ve owned two. Reliable as hell but notoriously underpowered. They are also outdated the second they come out. Still can get one in a manual transmission though! God Bless’em for that!
Just out of curiosity, what kind of MPG do you get on average with your truck set up like that?
