The only math you need to know for the contact lenses problem is 5+5. He solved it the hard way. Any odd multiple of $85 plus any multiple of $150 will have a one's digit of 5. If the answer we're looking for is $1690 with a one's digit of 0 then we know h must be an even number. 4 is the only even answer choice

@@minaazad2274 The GMAT Exam is a standardized test used by many business schools around the world to help evaluate candidates as part of the application process. It tests quantitative, verbal, and integrated reasoning skills across a broad range of question types. And "yes," there is plenty of geometry on the Quantitative Reasoning section. Don't worry, we teach it all in our comprehensive GMAT prep course: www.dominatetestprep.com/gmat. I'm confident we'll be able to get you up to speed quickly!

Hi! I would like to ask you about the GMAT... My starting point is 510 (i did veritas full practice gmat test today) and i have my gmat exam in exactly 3 month. I need to gain at least 590-600 scores... Is it possible during this amount of time (3-4 hours of daily studying)? I did some questions and read some math basics before this test during a certain period of time but it wasn't a consistent preparation. I know that i still need to improve my basics of math and grammar...

That's definitely possible. To give you an idea, my complete GMAT course is designed around an 8-week syllabus, and students who complete it see a score improvement of +112 points, on average. So even if you need to brush up on some of your math and grammar fundamentals, three months should be plenty of time for you to do that and get the score you're shooting for.

It sounds like you're talking about the GMAT, not the Executive Assessment. And yes, you can make significant progress in even just a few weeks with our comprehensive GMAT Quantitative Course. I recently had a student sign up for our Quant course just five DAYS before her GMAT. She crammed as much of the content and practice problems as she could, and her score went up considerably. She said it was exactly what she needed and the last-minute strategies really helped her. I'm confident you'll really benefit from it, too!
