I haven't watched any of AHS , I tried watching the first episode and I got bored of that silly family 🙄🤦‍♀️. I don't know if I have the patience to watch the rest of season 1 . I actually watched all of the spin off AHS 's ,and as hit & miss as it was I think I prefer the seperate tales. They heavily relied on the murder house 🏠 plot still though , which means the writers must have been running out of ideas 🙄.

I can't believe that Dr. Arden, a Nazi war criminal that was pure evil in human form, isn't in the top three. I found him far scarier and more unnerving than Dr. Thredson. James Cromwell knocked that performance out of the park! And the Addiction Demon!! That thing was terrifying!

I think Dandy Mott was more frightening than Twisty the Clown, maybe not in looks but, Twisty was misunderstood and thought he was helping. Dandy knew full well all about all the killing and torturing he was doing; not to help, just because he enjoyed it

I’m struggling to understand Lana Winters being on this list. What she went through was horrific and some of the things she did were questionable but she’s not a horrific character nor has she done horrific things. Especially compared to hundreds of characters on the show

delphine lalaurie should have been top 3, the things she did were truly horrific. AHS just isn't the same without Jessica Lange. She truly made the show what it is, along with Paulson and Evans. I really wish she'd come back as a regular. The best part about Apocalypse was that she returned as Constance

Cody Fern came into the show like a wrecking ball and straight up slayed that character. Love him.

Kai Anderson should be number 1, nothing is as scary as reality. "Knowing stuff has no value anymore. Not when the answer is in my back pocket or sitting on my desk. The youth has it figured out. The future will be filled with beautiful idiots who just want to feel." - Gives me the creeps every single time!

Papa Legba is the great communicator and keeper of the gate to the spirit world. He wears a straw hat and walks with a limp. The limp is because he walks in two worlds at once. Who we see on AHS is an amalgamation of Baron Samedi and a crossroad demon. Sorry, that's been bugging me.

Every season of American horror story that dealt with the coven was amazing. I liked almost every series they did but the coven was always the best!! 💯

He's my favorite villian of that season because of the terror of him being able to appear as so normal.

I think Dr Arthur Arden was a complete monster and deserves a spot here. Sister Mary Eunace was posessed so it doesn't count.

I think that AHS has of the best cast in the entire tv shows history. Evan Peters is definitely my favourite. He is so universal actor.

I’m so impressed with the rise of Leslie Grossman man. Margaret is her best character so far. And I’m so HAPPY Finn is finally in his leading role. I was hoping for that for a while.

A couple years back after watching AHS I went to New Orleans to take a midnight tour of the city. I found it a bit exciting that I saw the murder house of Delphine. One of the windows was bricked up and I think Nick Cage now owns the house. So crazy. I went to the graveyard but not inside because it was way too creepy.

Simple! Alma from DF Red Tide is the scariest. So cute, innocent, and terrifying. Francis Conroy is just as evil but coming from a child like just gives me the willies. Always loved AHS, but this season is the first to be scary. Even Lange with her amazing tremendous performances are not as creepy as that kid.

THANK YOU! Even Michael was a victim in a way… he was born in the Murder House and even when he tried to kill Constance, he stopped and felt really sorry for that. Alma is my #1 or at least in top 5(I know the season isn’t over but they put her dad here- who became a REALLY BAD person in episode 5. He wasn’t good.. but if they include season 10, Alma takes the cake

I was thinking Alma’s biggest competition was Bloody Face but he was a product of his shitty up bringing. Alma is number one for sure when you look at that aspect. She has such a look of innocents about her. She is evil wrapped in a cute little package.

I 100% agree. They really should’ve waited til at least Red Tide ended before putting Harry on this list. Alma is apathetic and does anything to get ahead of those in her way. You could argue similarly that Ursula is also worse than Harry, but Alma is a kid…who ate people…and basically killed both her parents…without remorse.

Papa Legba is technically another crossroads being called Baron Samedi, that's where the mistake was made when that season was written.

I didn't rewatch freak until the last couple of days I have to say the Edward Mordrake ones are fantastic episode's, perhaps my favourites of the entire show

They kinda mixed Papa Legba and Baron Samedi together. Especially when it comes to appearance. Still very cool portrayal.

Same. You know what's crazy , over at universal studios at Halloween horror nights . They have done a maze based on the show as well.

Kai anderson is the scariest character ive even seen on TV. Scarier than Richie aprile, gus fring, ramsey snow, and marlo stanfield.

Madame Lalaurie is the most terrifying to me because she has a real life counterpart who did horrific things to people who didn't deserve it at all. It's terrifying to me that there was a real life Evil Woman existed like her.

The only horrorific character I see is when I turn my screen off

For me Sister Mary Eunice is number one. The way Lily Rabe was able to switch so quickly was FANTASTIC and terrifying

I feel like horrific is being used as if it's synonymous with troubled.. Lana had trauma and was a survivor. That doesn't make her horrific..? And a few others. Y'all still managed to forget a lot of actual scary characters like the mad doctor in murder house who revived his child with random body parts, the mad scientist in asylum who performed experiments on patients, and the mad museum owner who was killing the folks in freakshow.

In other words, Asylum is the best season of all ❤️‍🔥

Double Feature is definitely my favorite for a specific reason. Being born in Provincetown. So it has my heart. Definitely great to see my town be put to show 😭 in my favorite show

Number 7: This character to me isn't anything like Howard Hughes and definitely not Vincent Price (to be fair, no one matches up to Mr. Price). I see this character as purely a "What if Gomez Addams was H.H. Holmes?" Which goes to show how much fun can be had with theoretical questions.

Yo as soon as I saw Papa Legba's face appear on screen I instinctively moved my phone back a bit from my face cuz I thought he was going to jump out

I was honestly disappointed with the second half of 1984. The first half had promise, but the second ultimately fell flat. I also didn’t like how they portrayed the Night Stalker part of the story. It didn’t fit in well and was factually wrong in many ways. Kind of felt insulting to his victims.

twisty may look scary but he’s nothing compared to the cult leaders, serial killers, and general psychos in the show

Alma in DF-Red tide though.... at least top 5.

They probably mistook Constance's appearance in Apocalypse for Fiona. Lange did seem to favor a character type.

Does anyone know the name (which I forgot) of an older movie that has the intro like this: The scene in the past in which the community punishes a witch by throwing her baby in a bonfire, she takes revenge by throwing a curse on the baby burning in the fire, becoming a monster that kills everyone on spot and focusing on a pregnant woman who runs away, catches her, kills her and remains a curse over the community killing any new baby or child that would be born or broght through the region.

Fiona is the most horrific! She knew every move she was going to make and had made without any remorse. She was plain evil, not mentally unstable, but evil. Lana is amazing, not a bad guy!

The most terrifying & horrific character ever is Delphine LaLaurie...no contest.

Alma should be no.1 after last weeks episode. I have never seen an ahs carachter that evil ever. Yeah a lot them are actual serial killers and killed multiple people but Alma is diefferent, she didnt kill anyone, but eversince the first day she took the pill she wanted to get rid of her mother, when shes told that she has to always drink blood because she has to play always from now on she was completly okay with it, not even being regretful, and even laughed about how someone killed themselves because they couldnt play that violin song, she started to ate her newborn little brother, again withput remorse, than gaslit and manipulated her own mother to took the pill even tho she knew perfectly well that it will turn her mother into a pale creature. Worst part is not only she knew that will happen but she planned it. At least the other carachters have some form of kindeness or remourse even if its just a little bit, or are heavily traumatized, ot haunted or have any reason and thats why the way they are, but Alma, shes just evil to the core. Kinda the same as Margaret, but i do feel like margaret is just a tad bit better.

I do enjoy how they showed if you use magic for Ego you will suffer for it. The loopholes in the forces of nature are best applied to healing. Whether your own or others. You can learn to channel the forces of nature. It’s why Baron Samedi likes it when your body is primed with alcohol and tobacco already. The one time I’ve encountered him he chuckled and said, “you must be tired my friend.” They’re all different skins for the same forces of nature ultimately. They will always present themselves to you in a way you will recognize. I ran into him when I was asking Khaos why Thanatos never comes for me.

I forgot just how good this show is, now I need to go rewatch it and maybe catch up to the current season.

I think this list is pretty accurate. Clowns dont bug me cause Vampire Juggalo for life Whoop Whoop. But yeah out of all the AHS characters I think Twisty would be one character that Id be pretty freak out about if he popped up all of a sudden. Then Id be like OH Hey Whats Up!! I think The Piggy Man would Most freak me out cause Dude....WTF is your Deal? Like A Dark Clown, Ok Cool. A Damn Pig Man....Come On....Why you do that to the little Piggy. I be done kept Twisty as a Pal and Piggy Man as a Pet. X'D

Love the new AHS 😮 not a long story like the first but some story put in one season 😮

Instead of Harry Gardner, I would have put her daughter of him and Doris (Alma). In the episode 10x05 I really hated that child for what she did to her mother.

I am psychotically obsessed with this series.
