@Isaiah i see, interesting, tbh it does make legendary goji sound like he had a voicecrack for some reason but its like a sense of nostalgia that doesn't work really well but at the same time does due to nostalgia

Fun fact: According to the novelization, When Ghidorah called all the Titans, Kong in Skull Island ignored the call and he instead killed The Skullcrawlers who accepted the call.

Agreed. It's a good movie that make everyone forget a pandemic for a while. Also, it's my first movie that I watched in cinema ever since pandemic happened because last year, I didn't go to cinema at all.

13:52 does literally nobody talk about ghidora here? His call is wicked and his stance is demonic man! Perfect Godzilla adversary and deep demonic undertone.

That scene when Godzilla arrives in Boston still sends shivers down my spine to this day.

This series is finally getting the respect and quality it deserves, with Godzilla vs. Kong easily being the best out of them Edit: Wow, almost three years later, and y'all are still dropping your thoughts, and not at all in annoying ways.

Godzilla 14..I liked it alot..GVK i l loved it..but the execution of story n characters were a weak point. Still loved it for the monsters I watch these movies for. Can we agree on that?

I love them both equally. I only rooted for King Kong because he felt like the obvious underdog in the fight. I'm glad they didn't go that route though. It's becoming too cliche to make the underdogs win in a fight.

Completely agreed, it's a catharsis for the character, and in just one scene it represents basically the entire movie, the entire Monsterverse, and perhaps the entire Godzilla franchise with maybe the coolest and most gruesome death I've seen in a monster movie

Gotta face it, Kaiju films are like Horror films, they cater to a niche market and isn't for everyone, so many people just automatically believe that kaiju films are dumb and can't be taken seriously, it doesn't matter how good a Kaiju film is, these people won't like it.

The problem is the dialog, totally invented scientific terms, the fact that sometimes you can't see the kaijus because are to much explosions, or it's to dark, or it's filmed from a bad angle. There's also the promises that this movie has made, but as a kaiju movie is not that bad, but as a movie itself is not great.

That ending credit scene in Skull Island with always bring me happy tears. No dialogue, yet so powerful

How can you left out when Godzilla and Kong roaring at each other? That moment is so epic. It seems like they said: Godzilla: "BOW TO ME! I'M THE KING OF THE MONSTERS!" Kong: "I BOW TO NO ONE! I JUST WANNA GO HOME!"

KOTM is by far the best of the monsterverse, and it’s my favorite movie of all time. GvK is great as well. 2014 and skull island are really good too.

To see newer generations becoming fans to my favorite franchise thanks to the monsterverse puts a massive smile to my face. Long live the king. :)

Can I just say that when Gidorah roared I got goosebumps 👏👏

Best moment in my opinion is when Godzilla and kong both roar at each other.

You guys love the Monsterverse so much that it feels like every week is always a Monsterverse Top 10 or 20 video but I always enjoy it, I love the Monsterverse

Marlow meeting his family again and Packard getting squashed like a bug was the best

My favorite moments are Morthra and Rodan's fight and second is when Mothra emerges from the waterfall .

These moments tell us exactly why this franchise is one of my favorite franchise of all time also you guys just put parts from other Watchmojo videos to put this video together.

To be honest, I cried when Kong finished off MechaGodzilla but I can’t argue with the true fans of the franchise.

plot twist legendary gets the premission from toho to make more movies and you'll have to re do this list about 20 more times

Serizawa and Mosura's sacrifices were by the far the most touching, they both helped and healed Godzilla so that he could finally defeat Ghidora once and for all.

Mothras sacrifice always hits me hard, love that Queen lol

My favorite moment? Kong destroying Mechagodzilla, ripping off its head and spine, and holding it to the skies, that straight up looks like a fatality move from Mortal Kombat. I think they knew what they were doing before the new Mortal Kombat film releases this Friday.

As much as I enjoy these movies on their own, I wish they felt more connected. New characters are introduced and basically forgotten about in the next movie. It would’ve been cool to follow one group of people that steadily grows throughout the movies, with Bryan Cranston and Serizawa being the main human connections to Kong and everyone from Kong: Skull Island comes back older in the next movies (since that took place during the Vietnam War)

I'm glad that #2 and #1 got on the list. I cried when I watched those scenes in theaters.

I had already seen Godzilla vs Kong in theaters before,and I am here to relive some of the experience once again..😃🙏

#3 was a metaphor that mother nature will come together in order to fight off humanity

One of my favorites was Samuel L Jackson telling the story of Icarus as he leads the squadron through the storm

Rodan:“We cool ?” Godzilla:.....“Yeah we Cool”

-The nuclear plant meltdown at the start of Godzilla 2014 was intense and shot amazingly well -Godzillas roar to challenge the Muto in Chinatown deserved to be on there.. it shook the theater -Godzilla charging up the nuclear breath for the first time in Goji 2014 also deserved to be on there.. crowd in theater went wild both from fans who hoped it was included to new fans who didnt know that was an ability.. one of the best moments I can recall in a theater

When Godzilla showed up as burning Godzilla I had a grin from ear to ear and I teared up out of pure excitement

The reboot version of Mechagodzilla was indeed impressive during the entire 'Godzilla vs. Kong' film.

I never thought I would like these sorts of movies - and boy was I wrong - They are just fantastic, and I never thought a 'monster' movie could cause such emotion, laughs or make me cry. I even cried over Mothra!

I'm sorry but the absolute best moment of all 4 movies for me would be the antarctica scene where godzilla and ghidorah square off. The buildup with the music and the squaring off in the blizzard with the look of disgust on both their faces is awesome. It's straight up criminal that it's not on this list
