@@Ghonzhalez the godess Mothra always has two fairies that are born together with the egg. Those faries are always represented with twins, sometimes they are not fairies but actual humans. The important thing is that the twins have an important roll in Mothra's life; they can summon Mothra with a special chant just like Nicko said, they also have a psychic connection with Mothra sometimes strong enough to "pray" to her and tell her who is the enemy or the threat. They also are tasked with the responsability of protecting the egg(s). In this monsterverse it appears the Chen sisters are part of a special family that always has twins in every generation, maybe so long the chain that it could be traced back to the era of the titans, the proofs are first the connection they seem to have with Mothra in the movie and the photos of their mother having a twin and even their grandmother having also a twin.

@@Ghonzhalez well somewhat, it's not like they can actually talk but more like they can interpret each other intentions and worries. This is why in the movie one of the sisters could tell that Mothra was coming before Mothra was even there.

They took the original roars and mixed it with the newer roars but made the originals noticeable which was fantastic I just wish that they kept ghidorah’s roar the classic which as a higher pitch version of rodan’s roar

I heard Ghidora’s chirping sound quietly in the background multiple times in the movie. Kinda behind the music as “white noise”....almost like a sound Ghidora quietly makes in the background. Like Tiger chuffing vs Tiger roaring. The chirping is the chuff.

The movie was freakin' awesome. The third act really made the movie, didn't it?

The Oxygen Destroyer could foreshadow the monster Destroyah, since his origins ties in to the bomb. -Love the remaster themes of Godzilla and Mothra, it's very beautiful and hyped. Best music from the movie. -Hope actor Joe Morton returns as Houston Brooks in Kong vs Godzilla. -Dr. Serizawa died twice in the Godzilla franchise to save the Earth. One to destroy a god, the other to restore one. -Godzilla nuclear forms resembles the Critical Mass state in the videogame Godzilla: Unleashed. One of the scientist even calls it that as Godzilla slowly burns up to that. And it's cool that he Phoenix Force's King Ghidorah to nothing.

I love how they abstractly call these animals Titans and they add smuggling and stuff making it overall more about military and black ops and weapons and people and in a darker but more advanced light and the animals have an increased mystery about them

My theory for Kong vs Godzilla. Kong will bump heads with Godzilla and get into a fight for the first bit of the movie until mecha king ghidora shows up. Then the two will team up to defeat mecha king ghidora and the two will pound fists and respect each other and go about their business...... Of course if it were a straight up fight between them I believe Godzilla would mop the floor with Kong.

Who else got goosebumps when hear Godzilla's classical roar #longlivetheking

In the scene where Ziyi's character stated that her mother and grandmother were all members of Monarch... the person I instantly thought off being her grandmother was her 04:49 and then she showed the pictures of them being twins, I was like oh the Shobijin... or maybe a reference to them XD

Only ture Godzilla fans will never miss any easter egg's that "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" delivered. Unlike the the 1st that did't do much on egg hunting, This movie was able to give us a lot!

I feel like it's gonna go the Batman v. Superman route of enemies at first then team up against bigger threat. King Kong is the only Kaiju (at least from what I've seen) that doesn't have some sort of energy blast defence- which means pretty much any other kaiju could just stand out of reach and blast him to death. I'm not sure how they're gonna work around that. My guess is that a reborn Mothra might unite the two- she's the only one I can see getting along with them both (Godzilla owes her his life, and King Kong canonically has a soft spot for beautiful beings).

Top 10 things Critics and the Norm probably missed since they ain’t Godzilla fans.....

The Monarch Outpost numbers were Easter Eggs too: Outpost 61 = Where Mothra's Egg is located. 61 is a reference to 1961, the year the original Mothra film was released. Outpost 56 = Where Rodan is hibernating in a volcano. 56 is a reference to 1956, the year the original Rodan film was released. Outpost 33 = While this one isn't in KOTM, it is mentioned in other material, such as the film's novelization. This is the Skull Island outpost. 33 is a reference to 1933, the year the original King Kong film was released. And finally, we have this doozy. Outpost 32 = Where King Ghidorah is located in Antarctica. 32 is not a reference to Ghidorah, but rather the location of Antarctica and its role in fiction. John Carpenter's version of The Thing from 1982 was set in Outpost 31. The Thing is located at Outpost 31. The next outpost is where Ghidorah is located, which makes it 32.

I've been a huge Godzilla fan since childhood, and I'm proud to say I missed none of these 😊. (Although I did have prior knowledge of which actor from Skull Island was returning.) I legit cried during the Mothra hatching scene, as soon as her theme started playing.

Thee Most Intense Godzilla movie to date.

Mike Doroughty had big balls for this movie...He made it FOR the fans, which as we've seen is a double edged sword...I for one loved it.

I like how they talk about mecha King Ghidorah but they show a scene of mecha Godzilla

Loved how the 3 heads didn't really get along

One thing I liked that I'm not sure is an Easter egg is how you hear sonic booms a couple times during the air battle with Rodan. The original Rodan movie, like the original Godzilla, was responding to developments in military technology (albeit, less heart-wrenching ones for the Japanese). Specifically, the drive to fly faster than the speed of sound. The thing with Rodan was that he could actually do it, making him a hard monster for 1950s militaries to fight. Not many of the later movies acknowledge it, but Rodan can fly at a speed of at least Mach-1.

Depends on how much KotM and GvK earns. KotM was brilliant, but it's not earning much. I really hope more people will watch GvK so that the Monsterverse can continue.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for Destoroyah being in the MonsterVerse. He... she... *turns to look away asking someone off screen* did they ever classify Destoroyah's sex officially?..... Anyway, Destoroyah has so much untapped potential especially if it is a man-created monster. Just thinking about how nasty Destoroyah could be in MV makes me want it even more.

When I saw the movie and seen and heard the references of the old films....I was balling out! Chills everywhere man!

I was the only one that noticed the classic theme out of everyone else in the theater, I’m sure. And I noticed the Blue Oyster Cult cover. And I noticed Godzilla’s new dorsal spines. And I’ve seen Invasion of Astro-Monster. And the 1954 Gojira.

Who else noticed all of these im disappointed I thought I was gonna see something I didn’t notice

Have you ever seen a Godzilla movie? When has a Godzilla movie ever had a “compelling story”? You act like this is supposed to be some Oscar film, it’s a Godzilla film.

For #1, it was also a reference to Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah in terms of getting hit with a nuke to "bring back" Godzilla. The Futurians bring the Godzillasaurus that would mutate into the Heisei Godzilla into the future in order to prevent Godzilla's birth (leaving the three Dorats in his place that would then become King Ghidorah) and so the main characters concoct a plan to use a top secret, privately constructed and owned nuclear submarine to hit the near-dead Godzillasaurus with a nuke and turn him into Godzilla again. Not only is it learned that the Godzillasaurus became Godzilla anyway due to nuclear waste in the area, but because it was hit with modern nuclear energy, it also increased his Heisei size from 80 meters (from The Return of Godzilla / Godzilla 1985 and Godzilla vs. Biollante) to 100 meters / 262.4 feet to 328 feet as well as his overall power.

I went to see Godzilla: king of monsters with my dad a few months ago, IT WAS AWESOME!
