Yeah but he had a China lake witch is a 40 mm Grenade launcher and a lot of 40 mm grenades so that would probably worked better

Ghidorah was the reason Godzilla had beef with Mecha Godzilla. He sensed that power and went nuts. After all, it's a literal alien that attacked earth and his most dangerous foe that he supposedly killed. Godzilla probably wouldn't have freaked out that much unknowingly

I think having a mechagodzilla is very important for humans as a species , i mean as a batman fan i will strongly force it to be build. But the unnecessary mistake was to use the ghidorah's head linked to it as remote control was dumbest idea. Better to just keep the pilot inside the mecha body.

Kong did better than most in a 1 on 1 fight with Godzilla, especially since one of those fights had Kong at an extreme disadvantage. Kong did much better in round two but was badly injured when round 3 started. Both Kong and Godzilla proved how tough they were when they both engaged mechagodzilla only minutes after their third fight despite both being exhausted and injured

Cole’s Sacrifice wasn’t that dumb, he thought that the Skull Crawler would eat him so his grenades could take it out from the inside but it backfired cause Crawler was smart enough to realise why he stopped.

Are you kidding me? Cole's sacrifice wasn't dumb, it was noble. He was willing to put down his life in order to save his comrades. Sure it didn't work, but atleast he tried to do something. Plus it gave them a little more time for Kong to get back on his feet. Cole will always have my respect.

Tbf Cole managed to stall the skulldevil for about 10 seconds which allowed Kong to save the team in time

5:15 Godzilla's Atomic Breath got affected by the MUTOS EMP. That makes him not able to use his Atomic Breath for a while. So it's not dumb, its an effect

Coles sacrifice was not stupid though. The skull crawlers attacker with their mouths, not their tails. So Cole was just thinking the skull crawler would’ve ate him, but the skull crawler was just smarter in that moment.

Cole's sacrifice wasn't that dumb, He was trying to get eaten to throw the grenades to Skullcrawlers' mouth but failed because Skullcrawler was smart but to give Kong a chance to fight

Agreed. She had zero legitimate reason to have done what she did or have the viewpoints that she had. They forced it because "plot." But she had the makings of a villain with a grudge and potential revenge quest against Godzilla given what she'd seen and experienced. At least that would have made her more interesting and relatable than a babbling lunatic.

If Emma hadn't driven off to lure Ghidorah, Ghidorah would've found and destroyed the ORCA more quickly, then he would've seen the Osprey holding Madison and the others flying away and he would've blasted it out of the sky with his gravity beams.

It feels a little hypocritical for people to defend Cole's sacrifice (Although I agree it wasn't that dumb, a little laughable not gonna lie), Emma's sacrifice was completely justified, not only because of Ghidorah's personalities, but because it completes her role very good because she sees that SHE was the problem since the beginning, and she was as monstrous as Ghidorah itself. People will say what they want, but I actually pretty liked KotM characters, of course, the dialogue was a little lame, but they are functional.

Cole's sacrifice is KSI wasn't that Dumb, He Just thought that The Skull Crawler would Eat him, He didnt know that Ramarak was Intelligent and that makes sense because They weren't On the Island Long enough to realize that, So Yeah Cole Wasnt Exactly dumb, He just didnt Expected that to happen to him, Also His Sacrifice wasnt That of a Waste since He Made Ramarak Slow down a Bit to give The Others Time to Escape, And Also Gave Kong The time to Beat the Skull Crawler Up, Now that i think of it, I was asking myself why i laughed when i saw that part

It seems like MOJO might have missed a big part of the Coronel's story and therefore his motivations towards the end. He feels like the sacrifices of so many are left unjustified after leaving Vietnam "unfinished". He is not going to let Skull Island be another Vietnam.

I always thought the atomic breath use in the first movie was limited due to Godzilla only being able to use it so many times before exhausting himself. Strategically, he could have gone all out from the start, but been left vulnerable with the Mutos not weakened prior to its use. If both of them kept him off balance when he used it, things may have gotten hairier. We really only see Godzilla spam his atomic breath more after Serizawa juiced him with that nuke in KotM. Chances are he’s packing a higher capacity to hold a charge at this point and in G vs K.

Someone must have been watching “How It Should Have Ended” episodes some of the topics of the list were pointed out. I would also have to say shooting at Kong to move was a dumb decision in Godzilla vs Kong

The sound design for the MUTOs in Godzilla (2014) has to be one of the best singular elements of a movie. EVER.

I was half-expecting the use of the Oxygen Destroyer to be on here, since we had Cole's Sacrifice as well

Bruh, you don't understand what makes a "well written" character if this is your honest analysis. Ford had no charisma as a character. Basically zero personality to speak of. And didn't even emote for his father's death. He sat there like, "I guess this is my life now." The only thing he did of substance in the entire film to affect the story directly was break the hatch on the gas tank to blow the nest. But here's the thing: Ford isn't special, and it didn't have to be him. It could have been any of the other soldiers to do that. But Ford was the one who thought to do so. Why? Plot. Not because he knew better. Not because he cared more. Plot. That's it. That's not a well written character. Analyzing the screenplay and the writing objectively makes it easy to see he was never actually meant to be the main character. They even admitted during pre-production to switching gears at one point during the writing phase to bring more of a spotlight to the younger actors (namely ATJ). But Ford, for the entire first 95% of the film, retains his reactive secondary protagonist elements and is one of the most boring, un-inspired characters ever to his a Godzilla film screen.

Emma’s decision to release Ghidorah was definitely the dumbest decision. Especially since she never even bothered to research more of Ghidorah’s history to see that he was never a titan of balance and wasn’t even a titan of our world. No instead she was arrogant enough to think that she knew better than everyone else that releasing every titan was a good idea.

If you watch post credit scene of KOTM, Tywin Lannister and his terrorist group got Ghidorah's left head a.k.a Kevin. But, in GvK, we see Apex Company got the left head. Did Tywin sell the left head to them and where is his character anyway in GvK?

When they focus on G's eye and his start to getting scared and Mecha grab his head and ready to end him. Me with teary eyed: Oh f*ck, don't you dare mister!!

Creating MechaGodzilla wasn't exactly dumb. I mean the humans had been living with the Titans for years so they needed to have a fallback plan in case of some Titan attacks. Godzilla was protecting humans as well but he was unpredictable at times too. Releasing MechaGodzilla without testing him WAS dumb but his creation wasn't.

@@sahaskodikara8741 I see your point, but the basis and entire idea of mechagodzilla in this movie wasn't to be a backup plan. Apex knew Godzilla would sense their creation and try and attack the facility, in turn painting Godzilla in a bad light to everyone else. They just wanted an excuse to use it to eradicate the other titans without giving them a chance.

@@tarantulatyrant389 Correct. And even using King Ghidorah's remains to create MechaGodzilla was a bad idea due to the fact the villainous Alien Titan's ghost was still in the robot.

"Not building another ORCA". Emma was really the only person in the world who knew how to build the ORCA and she died. Even if she HAD survived, it still took her who knows how long to actually build it AND get the right frequency stuff for the first one. It probably would've taken her just as long to make another one if she had actually survived the Godzilla: King of Monsters movie.

Incorrect. Mark helped build the prototype. He knows the ORCA enough to make it possible to pass off the basic knowledge of how it works to people more capable in MONARCH's employ to make a new and improved version if he wanted to.

Probably because back in 2014 movie, Godzilla just came out to human world after many long time hiding and he's probably still not confident to show off. Also, noticed how his atomic breath was white in 2014 movie but then it becomes blue in the next 2 movies? Maybe it's like his Level 1 breath and then advanced to Level 100 in KOTM and then Level 1000 in GvK.

Cole's sacrifice wasn't dumb at all, it was actually a really clever plan. The only reason it didn't work was the Skull Crawler saw through the trap. It didn't eat him like he thought it would, and instead tail whipped him into the mountain because he knew Cole's plan would kill him. Even so, Cole bought his team about 10 seconds to keep running, so it's not like it was in vain or anything.

I just realized that some of these spots on the list where said in HISHE's videos (which isn't a bad thing, I just thought it would be kinda cool)

Godzilla saving his atomic breath for later was probably just him showing off

Cole sacrificing himself isn't dumb it is a job as martyr and he saves others.Thinking that the skull crawler would eat him but instead it just wracked him on the ground with the grenade.

Tbf, even though the Titans cause a lot of damages, they still did heal the planet, so technically Emmas plan still kinda worked. I think the only fault in her plan was that instead of freeing every other Titan, she chose to free Ghidorah. And about Mechagodzilla, I don't the problem here was that they made it, but instead they used Ghidorah as the brain of the machine, which is what set Godzilla on rampage, since he senses that ghidorah is still alive.

Another honorable mention: Kong not telling Godzilla to "save Mothra". Godzilla would've been all, "Why did you say that name?!" and they could've stopped fighting even sooner.

I think that almost everything on Skull Island is a picture of the cause and effect of humans who are too sure of the superiority of humanity over nature to underestimate nature itself.

The dumbest decisions I hated were Packard’s Revenge: I mean doesn’t this guy know that Kong was only doing what animals do? protecting their territories isn’t an the act of them killing for fun it’s protection. Btw his men shot at Kong first when Kong gave them a warning. Also one decision that should’ve been on here was “Maia’s men holding Kong’s friend “Jia” at gun point whilst they were in front of him” from GVK. Seriously what was she thinking? Anyway she got what she deserved for underestimating Kong’s intelligence.

Cole exploding on the wall after being bitchslapped was hilarious.

Except this literally doesn't make sense because that's not how radiation works. Radiation destabilizes the atomic structure of whatever it touches. In short, it KILLS things. Destroys them. Corrodes them. It doesn't "bring life." This element of KOTM was one of the single dumbest and most nonsensical things they could have possibly added. And a little proof of this is that they didn't even continue the idea in GvK. Not to mention Emma, having lost one child and her previous home and marriage to the Titans and the aftermath of a Titan attack, has absolutely zero reasons to support the Titans no matter how much of a tree hugger she may be at heart. She has the makings of a character on a revenge quest against Godzilla for being the only surviving Titan of the three who took her son, her home, and her family's stability from here. But she's instead working with eco terrorists to toy with forces beyond her understanding like any true scientist would in a modern age... Yeah, no. Emma's reasoning was bullshit.

The Atomic breath being weakened is only really noticable retroactively, seeing the difference between in in Godzilla, and King of the Monsters.

That's only if was Ghidorah charged with electricity biting Godzilla and then mothra can heal Godzilla and making the electricity into a weapon.

5:16 Gonna have to call your bluff there. The MUTO’s emp attack also affected Godzilla’s breath. It was like a flame in that movie, whereas in GvK and KOTM, his breath was at full power as more of a beam. Who’s to say that he didn’t use it in Hawaii? I know that solider reacted to it, but there’s a big difference between seeing something happening miles away and happening in front of you. In addition, it didn’t really have much of an effect on the male MUTO at all, even at point-blank range. TLDR: #6 is not true:

TLDR, number 6 IS true. Even if Godzilla's breath is weakened, it's still a viable weapon that had a visible effect. The Female MUTO took two blasts point blank to the chest and was knocked unconscious for a few minutes until she woke up and sensed the nuke being carried away. That's an effect. Is it super effective and as strong as it could be if he didn't have to deal with the EMP? No. But it was usable, and effective enough to do something.

I love the irony in all of these picks. Especially not listening to Hank😅

I like how Mechagodzilla’s story is the same as Galvatron’s.

About leaving the Orca on the ground and flying off with her family yeah that wouldn't of worked Ghidorah can fly and also has an energy projectile attack so the Osprey would have been shot out of the sky.
