Tool - Stinkfist [clone cover]

Check out my band Dimphonic - • Dimphonic - u saint [M...
In honor of the new and long-awaited Tool record coming soon, here is a clone cover of "Stinkfist" off of their 1996 album "Aenima."
**Note: Each instrumentation of this song was transcribed by ear, so no official chords or tablature were followed. No samples or sounds were taken or used from the original song. Each part in this video was recorded live in one take and every sound was 100% homegrown through a years worth of technical research, planning, and intense trial and error to get as close to the "Aenima" feel and vibe as I could. After the video recordings, three more guitar tracks were layered in with different amps just as Adam did on the original song to get the final guitar sounds, and a double vocal track was layered over the pre-chorus sections and the "I'll Keep Digging" section just as Maynard did on the original song. Everything was then mixed together and volumes/effects were automated throughout.
I DO NOT IN ANY WAY claim the rights to this song, and thanks to Tool for being the timeless, revolutionary, and genius band they are.

This whole situation proves me once more that downloading good rare videos like yours from youtube is the right thing to do. Too many times I searched for a video on the tube and it was gone forever. Mainstream stuff is easy to find, but diamonds are endangered by the fucking algorythm leeching money. Somebody else already wrote it, your cover was too good even a machine couldn't classify it as a cover! Be strong!
It would be hard to tell the tool and this version of the song apart. I'm a musician of 30 years. And the guitar work on the effects is absolutely brilliant. The hardest part is all the manual adjustments, while playing, for all the sound textures. Tool has the most rhythmically flowing songs played in the most unorthodox manners of any hard rock band that's ever been. I'm actually envious of this guy's talent at such a young age

I heard Tool play this song live last night. You so totally nailed it! Kudos!
If someone played this to me I would need a good moment to realize it's a cover! Amazing cover!
Nailed that first rift

Its kinda obvious, but the talent level here is game over. As a deep Tool fan this was super enjoyable, as a critic it is faultless, as a musician, your elbow is on my lips.
I am fucking gobsmacked. Dude, you are SERIOUSLY talented. The MJK sound, every instrument. Blended & balanced. 12/10.
The guitarist is so underated in these comments. Like wow that's was amazing on all of your parts but I felt like that guitarist needed a little but of appreciation down here. 👍👍 Edit: I just now realized it's the SAME GUY! Oh my gosh that is incredible. Man had too much talent across all those instruments. Really enjoyed this dude.

Homey dropped a stick and didn't miss a beat. Luh dat shit
Wow. Didn’t know it was just one person til I read the comment😝. Shear talent from 1 guy. I’m in absolute astonishment!
It was like listening to tool themselves. Incredible
I hope Maynard and Team see this, what an Epic cover, goddamn! 😅
Bro this is a perfect cover...even dropping a drum stick and carring on like a pro....i close my eyes and hear Maynard...100%

We as fans have a duty to give this man the sub count he obviously deserves. I really can't get over how absolutely perfect all of it is.
Amazing thing is this guy makes his living as a blues drummer. Sometimes a musician is a musician.
This is what I've waited 22 years of my life to hear, this is the exact itch I needed right now lol. Please God don't ever stop making music
Blown away💥 You'd never know it wasn't Tool if you only heard the audio. One very gifted and driven young man.
To play drums like Danny, guitar like Adam, bass(sitting) like Justin and sing like Maynard? Mad Props on your clone cover and glad it came back to your channel 😈🤘🏼
