I recall years ago when I was visiting Atlanta the movie Boomerang was coming out and they were promoting the soundtrack and there was supposed to be this singer with this new voice. They then had a free concert in Piedmont Park and there was Tony Braxton singing "Love Should Have Brought You Home Last Night." The next wk the movie premiered and folks flocked to the movie theatres to see it. Well played Toni... well played.

I like Toni but in many of her songs, her clothes, the way she sings and even the lyrics are very sexy and provocative... I don't think she was "classy", especially considering the time... She was a very sensual and provocative woman with an amazing and sexy voice.

Toni Braxton songs never gets old. It still hits deep anytime i play it.

Toni has a such beautifully sultry voice. Everything she sings is angelic perfection.

Toni flipped a switch in my 13 year old head back in the day with this song and made me start to notice all the beautiful black girls at school. LOL. Even classic songs of any artist you get people saying it was "underrated". I can feel the lyrics, the passion and the emotion with each note that comes from her. It is virtually impossible to say that I have a "favorite" Toni Braxton tune. Each one is my favoroite until I hear the next one and then the next and still the next one. With that said, I do have two in particular which I play and listen to consistently. I was on a business trip to New York many years ago and stopped in at a music shop on a Sunday, bored as it was my day off. I picked up a headset promoting different artists, and after 2 minutes of listening, I bought her album. Her voice is amazing, bearing in mind I've always been a fan of rock bands: 1, The Who, 2, Pink Floyd and 3, Led Zeppelin 😁 But, like Sade, for me, she had something different and was/is incredibly talented. I had no idea at that time that she was also so stunningly attractive physically.

I never paid attention to the lyrics when I was a teenager. But now when I listen to it I realize there is a lot going on with this song. The sexy lyrics, her deep vocals, the unbelievably smooth beat and rhythm of this song is truly in a league all it's own. Perfection.

New generations will never understand real music. I grew up to toni braxton. She is still one of the best until this day. 2024, anyone?

For those who don't know the male model Toni went with at the end of the video, was Bryce Wilson from the group Groove Theory. He and Toni were actually dating at this time! He told her to use a video model and she insisted on using him lol. I can't say I blame her!!

She was beautiful no matter what wig or what she wore..still is one classy lady..love her music..
