I have loved Amel Larrieux since I was a young girl. There has always been something so pure and genuine about her energy. Her voice is soft and soulful. She's just an overall beautiful person. I knew from a child if I ever had a daughter "Amel" was going to be her name! Fast-forward, we were blessed with a baby girl last Friday! Thats right, her name is Amel! It was just so fitting! December 15th 1995. I was in the backseat of my sister's car, heading to my other sister's wedding rehearsal and I heard this song playing on the radio. The pretty boy in the video now plays on the reality show RHOA last season. He is on there with his ex wife who interestingly looks a lot like the lead singer of Groove theory. They share a 24 yr old daughter who also interestingly is a pretty girl model type. Just gorgeous genes running all up and down that family. Chile....

I'm from Nigeria 🇳🇬, first time I heard this song was in the bus on the way home from school and I'd learnt the chorus by the end of the song. It's been stuck in my head all these years. 25 years. Oh my! ♥️

+Misz Bella Benzz there's nothing wrong with you liking it. But for us who knew the song and what it meant while being teenagers all the way through our 20's is different the time we were all going out to parties and clubs and driving around with friends and having boyfriends and girlfriends its just different. I like my mums old songs but it's not the same feeling as what I grew up on. Its just a different feeling we can all like it but it's different when you're just born or being in elementary lol
In 2020 you’re here coz 90s r&b is simply legendary and you can’t stand today’s garbage 💕 I’m so glad I lived through the best r&b era

I see what I said is true by all the likes.... We all used to wear the baggy jeans, sportin' our waves, the tan boots similar to timberlands, and the long leather jacket. I used to dance pretty much just like Bryce Wilson. The crossover step, throwing my arms with the rhythm and beat !!! LOL!! GOOD OLD DAYS!! I am in my 50's now. Dont act like it's just me!!!!!
