And you do it just like me (and I do it just like you).When I was a teen and they first came out, I never realized how good Tommy James songs were, thought they were just for kids ("children behave") until a couple of years ago when I first reheard "Mony Mony".(Billy Idol's version sucks compared to the soaring gospelly original), and then relistened to all his terrific hits; now a fan forever. Glad you dig him, too, anybody who hears him would. Thanks again for showing the world this.

Great lesson, to show how simply the song can be played. I think, though, that you might have helped some beginners if you'd mentioned the barre chord shapes that you played during the verse ("Children, behave...") A, C#m, F#m, E, as the shape-name is different than the single muted notes (A, E, D, A) you're playing with that muted strum.

Well Awwwrighty now ! Looking forward to IT ! BTW … I also noticed in my playing that there is a piece of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" that has this power chord shape in it … not asking you to teach that too just mentioning it.
