Great breakdown and much appreciated and you sound like Eric Foreman
Very nice lesson. Good job explaining the chord progression and strumming pattern. I wish all lessons on KZread were this good. Thank you. Great Song, too!
Thank you for the lesson. Your guitar has a really nice tone also.
Greatest training video of this song on KZread. One minor critique.... pre-chorus is F, G, C, E major 7, A minor, D minor, G. Agreed. However the chorus is... F, G, C, E major 7, open A, D minor, G. When the back up singers are singing "still the same" twice it's in open A or A major if you will not minor tho. Other than that you're spot on.
Thanks for showing the correct way to play these songs.

I'm new and cant catch the strumming patterns. the home riff differs from the intro in that theres extra strums after the Em and G, whats that pattern there? I've re-watched this more times than I can count and still cant get it.
Sounds to me like that home riff is repeated for the outro chorus, but the chorus that happens in the middle of the song is actually this: C E A / Dm / G /
are you playing the A minor on the 2nd frat? I play it on the 1st fret and when i try to make to up and the way you are. It sounds way off but sounds good when your playing it. Were are you placing your fingers on the second fret!

Thank You for the lesson. Very good instruction. One question though. What about the part of the song that goes "Your still the same, I caught up with you yesterday. Movin Game to game. No one standing in you way. Turning on the charm. Long enough to get you by. Your still the same. You still ain't high".

it keeps going there but without the F. the F is like the intro to the chorus but its only played once i believe.

Twiztid Rich You mean the chorus..Cuz yer still the same caught it with... it is C/E/A/DM/G play 2x then back to main riff can use lessons walk down on each G if want..hope it helps
Can someone explain the walk down, please? Like for beginners 😅
+GuitarMadeEZ.com can you give me a link ofthe chords you use or just the chords

You're Welcome man, you have great lessons.
Beginning is great but after you need to slow down man, no way I can follow that
Your DM walkdown should of been explained slower...That is a great turnaround and you blasted thru vaguely and missed a great chance to show something cool.. Watching over and over does your middle finger ever rest on the A string or is it just hovering there???😓🙄🙃😲
@JimboMoody

Trucker Kev The Paid Tourist Yeah he did. The Home riff was slowed down over and over and over and over again. But the walk down was barley touched on and rushed through....
@spacedoginnebraska

@@JimboMoody It's also incomplete; leaves the last part of the walk-down hanging....
I love this song and you timing but there's just no way beginners are going to pick up that walk down at or around the 5:25 mark. It's bungled up pretty good with hitting the B and calling it the D. But the rest is awesome.

Agreed. Is there someone who’s willing/able to articulate that walkdown part for us newbies?

Dude u should have made the video longer and go slower to fast too many mistakes
Strumming pattern? I don't think so. Walk down? Poorly executed. A standout lesson? Hardly. Certainly not ready for prime time, that's for sure...
