Before she hit it big, she used to perform in shopping malls at her own expense over and over and over again until she was discovered. That’s real dedication to Craft. When somebody wants to perform that bad, and they put in that much work, it’s great to see them succeed. That said… I’m class of 90, a lot of my friends had a huge crush on her. A girl next-door.

Seriously, that last shot over the balcony with a crowd below almost got me choked up. I didn't get to do too many of them since I'm a later Millennial, but mall events had a certain charm to them that just can't be replicated again. Growing up is tough, but watching malls and hangout spaces winding down just has a sharp pull at part of my heart. Wasting time wandering through the weird boutique shops, tons of unique food places, an arcade, maybe even a pet store!

I just left a Tiffany Concert like 2 hours ago and it was so fun! She’s still just as pretty as she was when she was younger, still sounds just as good and is actually so nice.

Actually, just south of my town(Massillon, Ohio), there is still 1 drive-in place, and it looks sooo rundown, it is lookin bad, but, I know people still go there! I remember when goin to the mall, was the big deal, and the theatres were there, the arcades and so much more. Now, it is like a vast wasteland, and 1 of them is closed down, now, due to the new era of cell phones and all that.

I'm 54 and I agree with you. I was a teenager in the 80s. It was a blast! Absolutely no social media whatsoever and no mobile phones!! We all rode our BMX bikes everywhere and hung out all hours of the night. If we weren't on our bikes then we were either at the mall, the video arcade, or the roller skating rink. I sure miss those days. So free and innocent.

Liked it or not, in the 80s, this song was known by so many and stayed with us throughout the times and is stilled listened to this day as one of those catchy tunes we listen to today to reminisce the good ole days. And to think Tiffany is still going strong today. Good for her! She deserves it.

June 2024 anyone! My friend Big Don sang this at his wedding. Everyone formed a big Circle but the camera guy forgot to hit record. Now the memory lives in our minds forever. TY 80s Music for Everything 🎉

+Aozotra, I used to go to that mall all the time as a kid. It was the biggest hangout for my mom, my sister, and I. It got tor down in 2002 and it hurts not having it there. I hope this video stays forever cause I can watch it all the time and it brings back memories.

I was stationed in Korea in 1993-94. Tiffany and her husband went and did a concert on the base. I was the senior NCO for her security detail and got to meet them. They were great people. Every time I hear this song, I always remember Weird Al's parody. I asked them what they thought about it. They said they loved it.

She was a beautiful young woman and a great voice.

Thanks to Umbrella Academy, it's shone light to an underrated song
