Why is it that once you start listening to these fire 80's hits, you end up binging on all 80's music for hours on KZread? Nothing and I mean straight up nothing will ever dominate the music, culture and fads of the 80's! So blessed to have lived and experienced the enlightening 80's. In Siam(Thailand), they were known as "blue diamonds" and only royalty could own them. These days, they're among, a favorite breed of housecat. I was going to get a Ragdoll at the Humane Society, but this kitty-girl in my picture, caught my eye. We adopted each other. She's an 8 year-old Siamese. Cute as a button, spoiled as a baby, but finicky - just like a cat. And, boy does she "talk". They're very talkative and demanding. But, still, my fluffball and still a mommy's girl.

Tina Turner is a legend…Taylor Dane didn’t achieve the same and didn’t have the same energy - Taylor can’t dance move nor sing like Tina and don’t achieve the same level of success. She only had 1-2 songs that were hits this one and the slow from the 90s. She’s NOT no Tina though, it’s like how ppl compare Beyoncé to Tina but none of these ppl come close to her. Legends are like Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, Tina Turner etc we don’t have those kinds of legends anymore. We only have mediocre - Justin briber, Taylor swift, even Beyoncé none of them measure up to real legends - all auto tune puppets.

I just moved back from Arizona to Chicago. I think I was 13 riding my bike listening to this song. Funny how can remember certain things in your childhood like where you were and what you were doing when that song was playing.

the history of this track: it was released in 1987 but slowly climbed and stayed on the charts for what seemed like forever. even though they claim it peaked in early 1988, it was hot on the radio well into the summer of 1989 like it was new. it just had amazing staying power if I remember correctly. it was so powerful nothing else could outcurve its momentum.

This track was amazing. I'm a hard rock/metal fan, but the first time I heard Taylor Dayne I fell in love! Always wanted her to perform a duet with a rock god (Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury, Steve Perry, etc.) Taylor would have killed it! One of the very few "pop" records I own. Taylor is AWESOME!

Taylor's still eating off this track, trust. I bought this classic.

This reminds me of my late brother. As kids we shared a bedroom and used to play this track over and over. And now he’s gone (aged 31) I play it over and over.. Brings back sweet memories. Difficult when someone who gave you memories becomes a memory.

Underrated artist with a strong voice. "Blue eyed soul" true to form.

25 🙋🏼‍♂️ I listened to it first when my parents bought an 80's CD-Compilation when I was 8 and this one was one of my favourites on that compilation. Depends what type of 80's music you're talking about. 80's music that you hear in nightclubs chains like: *Popworld* *Walkabout* *Flares* etc That are mainly in the Disco, Synth Pop, New Wave, Rock etc genres I hate. Same goes for 70's music. However I like practically every other genre from every other decade, including this, which you hear in Flare's sister nightclub chain *Reflex* which focuses more on late 80's and early 90's Eurodance and R&B music.

Theres nothing like 80's Nostalgia. I was born in 82 but i remember most my childhood years in the 80s. Playing outside most the day, chasing down the ice cream man, skateboarding, and then playing nintendo for like an hour at a friends house because we all had that one friend that had everything.
