So basically at 2:04 Tom says “They’re gonna need a whole family of coffins when you Chris Benoit them to solve all your problems” And the reason this hits so hard is mainly because Chris Benoit was a professional wrestler who ended up killing his wife and children then himself. The fact that Lethal went off on Tom for being a wrestler rly adds meaning to this bar. It hits hard. It’s been years and I still think people haven’t gave Tom the proper respect for his diss tracks. He made Mac Lethal… one of the best and most hyped battle rappers in the world, look like a complete and total amateur. Mac’s response was absolutely awful and the worst part was, it wasn’t even entirely written by him. He had that much trouble that he had to have Crypt and a few others help him. Mac Lethal wasn’t just some chump wannabe rapper. The dude had lots of achievements when it came to battle rapping. But Tom came in and just absolutely destroyed him almost without trying. It’s crazy. Oh, and I also will never forget that Chris Benoit line. That is still to this day one of the hardest and most disrespectful bars in a diss track. lol.
