Yeah this song has me feeling conflicted. He claims to have found God from what I have ascertained through this song. That being said, he seems to be taking most of the glory for where he is in life now. He said "this all me" when really without christ he wouldn't be where is now. Idk. He's saying he's got 11 inches for these hoes... I hope I'm not the only who thinks that's not what Christ would say. I pray he opens his heart more and doesn't say such graphic things just because he's feeling some type of way. Tom, I am with. Fellow addict of 25 plus years of crack cocaine. I am not rich financially or have a dream job. I work on a chicken farm that I started working at through work release. I planned on leaving as soon as I got out. It has been 7 years since I got out and I would never dream of leaving my job. I may not be rich financially but I am rich in gratitude, thankfulness and for the people around me that are my co-workers and friends. That includes my boss that had thousands of opportunities to fire me but instead seen something in me that I did not. I am happiest I ever been, but not content. Love your rap, it rings absolute truth! 💯

If you are a Christian you should not be applauding this. Yes, it is good to overcome sin. But his message is one of pride and arrogance. Such is not from wisdom, God will destroy all pride. As a Christian Tom's music bears some truth to it but his theatrics are still demonic in appearance and nothing he sings is in the form of praise for The Father Almighty. He claims himself to be a goat (greatest of all time) but in Christian terms goats are on the left of Lord Christ and they will all perish. Those on the right of Lord Christ are all lambs, not goats. I think there is a good reason for this "interesting" play on words. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty sprite before a fall.

I usually don't post comments, but this video hit hard for me. I can relate. I am now 58 with a felony committed 32 years ago that everyone told me would ruin my life. I worked shit jobs, was homeless, doing drugs and drinking more than I should. Years later I gave up working dead end jobs, barely surviving. Now I have worked in county jails supervising inmates, am now a state licensed armed security guard who carries a valid ccp. I refused to believe the lies that I wouldn't amount to anything, but look at me now. Just wish my dad was alive to see what I've done with my life. Tom... Your an inspiration. Thank you brother for touching me with this video.

I prayed for over 8 yrs. that my son's father would turn his life around. Stay out of Prison, get off drugs and alcohol. Took me sticking by him in Prison this time, & by God's grace he has completely turned his life around. He wants to start a prison ministry. So YES people can change, God DOES answer prayers. By saying it was "god" that heard your prays, you actually don't give credit to who actually changed his damn behavior. The dad of your son. He changed his behavior-routine, in which he was stuck for a long time. You, God or someone else might have supported him mentally - but HE and NOBODY ELSE was able to change his behavior.

I only discovered this guy like a few days ago. How the hell did I miss it all his stuff I guess nobody would put it on Facebook or something. I don’t know, but in the past two days been listening to him , best I heard in a long time and I like the topics he raps about and stuff he isn’t afraid to say.and then I hear GodMode……. As a man who has been homeless 8 years. I found Tom 5 years ago, the last time chance I had in a house. I heard "helluvit" and been hooked ever since. I'm chronically mentally ill and been struggling the last year with it. I'll have it the rest of my life. But I choose to work. I don't want SSI. That's how I'm able to afford my phone bill and Spotify to listen to him. I heard this song a day after it came out and been listening to it multiple times everyday. The song helps me cope with my paranoia. I have respect for Tom now. Not letting the image of a rapper consume him. Not letting the money consume him. I imagine taking care of my future wife the way he takes care of his family. I don't really have a family and things are so messed up that it's best that I leave and go do my own thing. I don't want millions or fancy anything except a beautiful kind woman who respects the kind of man I am and in turn I will work my mother fucking ass off. It's hard to just do it for yourself. Knowing that nobody's hoping you're successful so you can help them. Nobody is counting on me. I am for myself. But I don't have that big of an ego, my heart needs a womans touch. Listening to rap that isn't constantly trying to get you to do hella drugs and fuck hella women is good.

Hes helped me more than VA ever did. Id listen to Tom to help make the thoughts go away. The VA told me they put transwomen in MST living spaces for women who were SA'd while serving. They house MST survivors with men if we need inpatient MH care. Thats counterintuitive to what we need. So, Tom and Equestrian Therapy help me. I highly recommend Equestrian Therapy. The WWP sponsors me. I volunteer and I ride.

I’ll be sober 10 years this December. My husband got into a drunk driving accident when he was 16 and went to prison for 11 years. I decided me quitting was best for my future and so I wouldn’t bring temptation to my husband. His testimony video is on my channel. Praise God! 🙌

I had a accident in 2001 and drank and drove. My car rolled and ended up on top of me. If i had hurt someone beside myself the guilt would have eat me alive. The only reason I lived was because I was limber due to being drunk. Ironic.

Congratulations. I just made 2 years sober in march. I had too much one night, woke up in the hospital with 7 doctors over me telling me i was lucky to be alive as my back was .84

I'm 7 years clean. My wife is 6 years clean and a homelessness and domestic violence survivor. 3 years ago I started this podcast and thanks to some amazing organizations, in less than a year I dropped out of school and have been doing it full time ever since. I don't know who's going to see this with the video being two weeks old, but here it goes. Never has a song moved me like this one. I knew that with a name like God Mode I was in for a ride. I'm 31 and I'll be starting my life over from scratch four states away from where I was born. I have to admit it. I'm addicted to video games. I have to find the power to quit. I know I can. I'm intelligent enough to do anything that I put my mind towards. I'm going to start by changing my routine. I want to focus on communication and technical skills first. Then, play video games later in the day or on my day off. I know that I won't be able to just quit right away, but if I can reduce the ammount of time that I'm playing video games then that will be a good start. I beat video games all the time, now it's time to beat the hardest video game of them all... real life. I have a 10 hour drive ahead of me tomorrow. I couldn't have heard this song at a better time.
