Tokyo half day solo tour | Between guide and Vlog

I know it sounds like a strange title, but it's not a guided tour, it's not vlog, it's somewhere in between :)
This was shot last year, same as the previous video.

Thank you so much for posting this. I lived at 1-1-25 Azabudai in Minato-ku for quite some time back from 1989 to 1994. I was a nanny and English tutor. I miss that neighborhood so much! I have also come to find that my house is gone now and is super high rise. Your walkthrough made you shrine with so wonderful, thank you!

Thanks for the video! I was at that exact Blue Bottle when I visited Tokyo in 2017! I love that small alley and how quiet and calm is is going up the stairs to enjoy a coffee. So nice to see you visit there, brought back memories.

Great video as always! Your visit to Meiji temple, Harajuku area, and the imperial palace revived all the memories I had when I was in Tokyo 10 years ago. I was at the spots where you were too :)

for fifteen years I went to Japan at least once a year, in 2019 I spent a total of 9 weeks there, and I was there early March 2020, just before the border were closed… Now I’m looking forward to come back, as soon as it will be possible, maybe within this year. In the meantime your videos are giving me so much the feeling of the real Japan, not like all others “guides”, just annoying. Every time you gift me some minutes immersed in the Japan I know well and I love. Thank you, really

I first went to Japan in 2014, and after my first trip, I knew I had to visit every year, especially as I met people there, and wanted to see them again. I only got to visit 6 times, as the 7th trip had to be cancelled. I wish I could have visited 15 times! It's my favourite place in the world. At least, the memories are so rich, varied, and still fresh in my mind, that it sustains me a bit through these horrible times.

“I like hot coffee but…” but what :)? Meiji Shrine is the first sight (other than Akihabara) my wife and I visited in Tokyo when we came several years ago, so it was funny and sentimental to see at the very beginning of your trip, too. So many great memories. Lovely vlog.

your videos are so relaxing its ridiculous. I love seeing such a silent perspective on such a place that can be so damn loud, watching your videos alleviates my worries about moving to Japan in the next few years. I always overthink and worry about things that really only matter to me and no one else but these some how ease the stress.

Watching this video made realize that this is just one perspective on how we see our own world and how we live amongst it. Great video and content man.
