I went from the busiest station to the least used station in Tokyo | Japan Vlog

Shinjuku Station is the busiest station in Tokyo (and Japan), with over 2 million passengers a day. From such Shinjuku, I went to Shiroumaru Station, which is said to have the fewest passengers in Tokyo.
As it was a weekend morning, there were not many people at and around Shinjuku Station, so the contrast may be a bit hard to be understood, but anyway hope you enjoy!

Hope you and your loved ones are doing ok after the quake! Shiromaru seems more rural than the area around Mt Takao. It's really nice to see a place where people are trusting and can be trusted. Not sure there are any places like that in America...

It was really strong and long one, but we are ok. Thank you. Yes, Shiromaru is an area like further out in Tokyo. I am not sure if people cheat, but at least I paid my money. haha

It always amazes me how clean Japan is. Thousands of people walking on the streets of Tokyo and not even so much as a receipt on the ground. Also, I love how quiet and serene that little town was!

Love the contrast between the bustling streets of Shinjuku and the peaceful, slower-paced Shiroumaru. Also, seeing you "break the 4th wall" by returning to retrieve the camera after you walk past it was pretty funny. You don't see that aspect of solo vlogging very often. xD

Noooo, please don’t change your trademark opening melody, hope it’s a one-off as I love the original one! As for the rest of the video, what a lovely idea. Hard to believe it’s still Tokyo! Such a station would’ve probably been closed a long time ago in London. I like how the filming speed and cuts are much quicker in the busy Shinjuku than in the serene area. A nice little cinematography trick. Also, love the fact that even such a remote and quiet place has a restaurant that looks cool and serves what appears to be very yummy food.

Wow, thank you for this comparison, it is so interesting to experience both sides of Tokyo. The outskirts and the least busy areas have some charm and a calm atmosphere. The "amount" of quietness is surprising, it can be recharging after the busy central areas.
