Hey, if I was ever caught in a major disaster, my choice would be Kenneth More.
Titanic 2012 Murdoch: “NOW… WE MOVE TO THE STERN!!!! AND WAIT… FOR… RESCUE!!!!”
I had totally forgotten that the 1996 miniseries showed Murdoch shoot himself before the more controversial scene in the 1997 film.
According to a few books I read about the Titanic, there were reports (quite possibly during the inquiry) of shots being fired for the purpose of crowd control, but it's never been substantiated whether or not anyone had actually been shot.
The 1996 scene is just so... bizarre. The set looks more like something out of a stage play than a television miniseries. At a certain point the set just ends and falls away into a black void of nothingness. Also, that one stoker who says: "Fuck that." It's just... so out of nowhere, just like the rape scene in this same production. The '96 miniseries truly is something else, alright.

@@NorthWestern1919 OK. Watch the lips/listen again. It's very clearly 'sod'. Of the two expressions, that's also the one that's more likely for the time period and the tone of the series, whether or not there's a rape scene earlier on.
I would have used the shot of Lowe firing his gun in the 1997 movie instead of Murdoch
So both the 1996 and 1997 versions say Murdoch shot himself?
ANTR, SOS and 2012 seems like the only ones where no one died from shots
The shitty old video game at 1:39 had me in stitches! What WAS that lmao

It's Titanic: Adventure out of time, one of the most respected Titanic games for its time and layed the foundation for the games we have today in a lot of ways
In my opinion, the 2012 was the most chaotic one😅
Essentialy, multiple seperate witnesses claimed to have seen an officer shoot a passenger to stop the crowd swamping Collapsible A, then shoot himself. If that did happen, it was most likely Murdoch. The point is debated among historians with no conclusion either way, but it shows that Cameron did do his reserch. He didn't just fabricate the scene as is often claimed.
2:03 Abraham Lincoln
다른 영화에서는 그냥 발포하는 것으로 나오지만 실제로는 1997 타이타닉에 나온 모습이 가장 고증을 잘 살린 모습이라고 합니다.
Webley revolvers were used on Titanic, but in Titanic 2012 there was a different weapon.
Why did James Cameron showed Murdoch killed and committed gun to the head with saving 2/3 of the survivors of the titanic that’s awful for someone to give up there live for that

I know this is controversial, but there is quite a bit of eyewitness testimony saying Murdoch shot himself. It doesn’t detract from his heroism, as he was trying to save people to the very end.

I think part of it is that Cameron legit didn't think that having Murdoch basically commit a murder/suicide would be controversial, like to him those weren't necessarily egregious things to depict but rather just tragic actions brought on by a terrible situation

My Ranking Of The Scene In Media 1.Titanic [1943] So That Man With The Gun Dies And The People Yell And Run So That Is It 2. Titanic 1929: “GET OUT!! GET OUT, I TELL YOU!! IF YOU DONT, I’LL SHOOT!!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The New Video Just Out? dang
How come Murdock's family didn't say anything about the 1996 film showing he committed suicide? They only had a conniption over James Cameron showing that? In reality, Murdock was a hero that night. He helped load the boats and even allowed men in the boats if there weren't any women and children nearby. While it's true he died during the sinking, he didn't die by suicide.

The 1996 miniseries was quite low budget and not that popular and titanic 1997 was a hit by a popular studio

Once I saw the trope on this occasion I grew worried knowing about the 1943 films depiction for obvious reasons. Yup, it did not disappoint, though I must ask Titanic: Adventure Out of Time was included this time around?

@@CaptainJZH yeah... I recall seeing it somewhere and it for sure left a impression... I can do without the 1943 version though-
The first movie with the shots was actually the 1927 Verison. But sadly you didn't add it because is not popular and alot of people don't know about it & is forgotten.
