Tisas 1911: The Budget 1911 Test

Hey there folks,
Took the Tisas 1911 to the range to do some science!
In this regard, there were many people at the range, which is a good thing to see in this day and age, however it forced me to do an amalgamation of audio in order to pull off the desired effect of a youtube range video. I think you'll be surprised at the results of this test. Long story short, if you're looking to get into the game of 1911's but you're like me and have a limited budget, I wanted to show you what you could expect with a budget gun, budget magazines, and budget ammunition. Much love to the folks looking to get into 1911's, as I am one of you, and if you simply want another one, Tisas is not a bad route to go down.

I paid $300 for mine, it does have a break-in time but after that it's good to go!
Most of those malfs appeared to be on the last round which indicates a weak magazine spring

Agreed, it could also be too much tension. Some physics apply either way. The mecgar spring tension is super weak in comparison and it still had a hickup.
The only problem I've had with mine (B45R, Commander length with a light rail) is if I load it with flat point or hollow point, it doesn't like to feed the first round out of an 8 round magazine, but it feeds the other 7 just fine, which just seems weird to me.

Curious on what the issue is/was. I run sarco mags and have had zero issues.

A combination of the finish wearing where it needs to and brand new magazines wearing where they need to, as well as spring tension in a brand new magazine. It all falls into place with use.
