Panzer Arms Turknelli Torture Test (Part 2 of 2)

Ғылым және технология

Hey there folks,
If you've watched the original video, part one, then I'm here to give you the finally. The test is concluded, and with some interesting things along the way, the short story is that the Turknelli simply runs. I have put literal blood, sweat, and money into this (sorry no tears) and it's all for the love of the gun community, firearm functionality, and y'all. Thanks for watching!
Kind Regards,
The Hippie Gunner

    Thanks for taking the beating doing this. I had the same failure to cycle issues on my Benelli M1 entry when using low energy stuff and that’s a recoil operated system. I’ve been on the fence with the Turknelli. If there’s a stock that will fit and not break I’ll be grabbing one.

    1000% agree with you when it comes to price. i understand the real benellis value, but im such a casual gun guy, it makes no sense for me to fork out that chunk of change. there are so many good guns nowadays in that 500 dollar area, especially on sale, you cant really go wrong. and i absolutely bought this shotgun to hang on the wall and admire as one of my favorite gaming weapons of all time. same reason why i bought a beretta m9, which has turned out to be my absolute favorite pistol. L4D and Cod4 and MW2 made me fall in love with the M4 and countless other guns i can only dream of owning (heres hoping someone makes a cheap clone of the Desert Eagle someday lol)

    Hey hippie gunner. You ought to do a 500 rd test on a BENELLI with same loads. I say this because I was on a Sort team that had a lot of problems with the benelli m4. We went back to the Remington 870. Sorry benelli fans but I’ve had experience. Not good. You want an M4 go with a panzer. The reliability is the same. The price is better.

    I worked the 2019 NRA Worlds out in Virginia for Devil Dog Arms/Crazy Quail (aka Techpro). Barry had five brand spankin' new Browning A5s that Browning had donated for this event. I took all five of them out of the box, removed the plug, and added magazine extensions. No cleaning, no lubing, no tuning -- nuthin'. All five of those guns ran 3000 rounds or more over a week's time without a hickup. Had they been Remmy 1200s or Winchesters or any Turkish kaka I'd have been fixing them multiple times per day with a complete teardown every night. Those Brownings ran without a hitch and did so without lube, cleaning, or any other attention. Amazing how much shotgun you can get for only $1600.

    I would find a way to put a Limbsaver Air Tec recoil pad on that bad boy! The gun is set up for mag loads. Most buckshot loads that are 1 oz are running 1300 fps. So, low recoil loads are not for this gun or the M4 either.

    Talk about a buget shotgun. I bought a Rock Island lion. This thing will eat anything! The only thing about the gun was low capacity, I put a mag extention on and solved that now running 7 rounds and for the price you can't beat it. Check it out, let me know what you. Be safe be blessed.

    The torture test we all needed. What was the final round count and total failures?

  • @TheHippieGunner

    @TheHippieGunner

    8 ай бұрын

    In total, Approximately 800rds, all failures with the exception of one had to deal with low power ammunition, specifically under 1200fps. Had one instance of firing a shell and the remaining shells did not load from the mag tube, one failure to extract with the bolt still holding the shell, other than that, it runs. The design is almost flawless, the ammunition not so much, feed it good, and it'll run good.

    It’s ignorant to blame countries of manufacture. While admitting quality controls can be inconsistent depending on the country, a perfect example of “Turkish crap” is the already established “Chinese garbage” of today. What was considered garbage back in the day were the Norinco SKSs, MAK 90s, and Clone 1897s, now they are all considered awesome and loved by everyone.
