My rainy day and snow day rides are necessary for work commutes. A few key things to remember: 1) cars and trucks become even more dangerous because of their lack of skills/knowledge -- especially 4x4 trucks who think they have absolute traction and all-star skills. I've seen tanks slide over cliffs on skiffs of ice -- nothing has absolute traction. 2) Cars and trucks go thru intersections up to six or eight seconds AFTER the light changes -- maybe they don't notice thru their wipers. BUT, when you're at the front of an intersection and the light changes, count to five or six, then look both ways for late runners; if clear, then go.

I like in UK, So here is raining almost everyday ( like 80% of the time) I have no choice but to ride in rain. So I got good at it.. My advice wolud be: To carry water proof trowsers and waterproff jacket with you, and in case of rain, just dress with them by sliding them over your usual motorcycle gear. The waterproof jacket and trousers should be high vis yello colored, that would be a bonus...

i moved to colorado because of how sunny and nice it is, yet we have been getting an insane amount of rain this year. also ABS is your very good friend riding on wet roads, but obviously don’t rely on rider aids alone

Took my MSF course in the pouring rain, we even did swerved and such to build confidence and trust but also had to slow things down as to maintain traction! Was awesome!
