In Colorado, have a few corners in the mountains that have motorcycle specific warnings with memorials at the corner. I am gonna take my BRC in spring of 2024 and hopefully get a bike if the money gods allow.. These videos are awesome... LOL

Hate commenting , but love what you do. My nephew died this weekend on his bike. I sent a new ride like your way cause I want him to survive.

Hey Dan I've been considering getting back to riding a bike. I am 57 years old and haven't rode a bike for 25 yrs. Did you feel this is too old to start? I would take a safety course and have been studying all of your videos. They are also excellent for the four wheeled drivers. Many thanks for all your videos as I know you are saving lives and will be saving more. My last motorcycle was a 500cc Yamaha. I am considering a 750 DCT Honda. Do you think this would be a good choice?

You’re never too old to do what you want, and whatever bike you get will be a good choice.

Okay I love DanDan's videos, but let's correct this (long read, sorry!) The one and only valid reason to go middle middle middle is to enjoy the ride, the bends and the leaning, since going into a corner from inside would be plain stupid and going the straightest possible line (out in out) all the time might not be fun. In every other aspect, out in out IS the correct way to navigate a corner. Any given corner in any conditions, on any kind of vehicle. Because physics. If you are on the outside on your way into the corner, you have superior line of sight (you see way sooner through the corner if there's stuff on the side like trees, rocks, buildings...) , you are far away from incomming traffic in the middle of right hand bends. Ok, left hand turns are sometimes more like out middle out, if there is a passing vehicle, but because you were on the outside at the beginning, you were actually able to see it and correct the speed and your path! Next you don't need to lean nearly as much, you are effectively straightening the bend, taking the straightest possible route. Just try it in slippery conditions, in rain cold/weather, gravel, muddy road, bad surface... you wanna go straight, upright, avoid lean angles and any sudden changes. And if you need to break, you don't want lean angle to ruin your day, do you? Out in out IS your daily routine, unless you are a sunny weekend warrior (which you might very well be and cheers to sunny sundays!) Unless you WANT to enjoy the lean, o-i-o is the correct way and even if it allows you to go faster, doesn't mean you have to! Control your throttle. Some further reasons not to take the middle path, unless the road is very good and clean, is oil and debree and the road profile (many roads are not very flat!) In any of these situations, you want, again as little lean angle as possible and you want the least obstructed possible line of sight.

The thumbnail lied. I expected videos of people cornering. Right way vs wrong way. Like Doodle did with her 100 U-Turns.
