Tips and Tactics for Getting into Shark Fishing from the Beach

Спорт

i had been getting asked how i was going about fishing for sharks from the beach so i figured i would do my best to show that.
Hopefully this video is helpful to anyone who is wanting to get into shark fishing but knows basically nothing about it.

    Also FL has a special educational requirement for shore-based shark fishing now. It's free and very informative. I'll be there again this October, but we usually fish in 'Bama.

    really enjoyed this. quick question - do you guys ever use a gaff if fishing solo to drag the shark in ? I have both rope and gaff with telescopoc pole. personally I'd rather use the gaff.

    Currently that reel is going for almost #200. If you go with the BG get 6500 which holds 550 yds of 50lb braid. it should be sufficient if you fight the fish well.

    Hey Henry, wasn't your first channel name "Sharkbait"? or something similar? I know you know about shark fishing. Your handling them in the last bit shows that to those of use who have dragged a few in on the beach and aren't quite so familiar with 'em.

    when the bait is out, do you have the drag real loose and then tighen it once the shark has it?

  • @Ben-bp3nm

    @Ben-bp3nm

    13 сағат бұрын

    Don’t want it too loose. Having it a bit tight but not too much is good so that when the shark picks up the bait and decides to take a run, the hook gets set nicely. That’s what works for me anyways🙏🏼🦈

    Texas is known for having more extreme currents going sideways down the beach then most other states. Allot of people from Florida come here and find it to be a difficult fishery.
