Tincup threw me off guard. I thought it was just some trail we could hit on the way to the famous Imogene Pass. Views were spectacular at Tincup, especially at the summit. Easygoing trail with lots of climbing and lots of Colorado landscape to behold. #adventure #tincuppass #colorado4x4

I'd be happy if we had found that obstacle on the trail. Would have added some spice and strife to the day. Hahah

I've been over Tin Cup from St. Elmo twice, both times in September. The first time was after it had just snowed. The drive was good, in my opinion. Slippery of course and I had trouble on a steep slope. I learned how to 4x4 in my Ford Explorer AWD. It did great on moderate 4x4 passes. The second time the next year there was no snow. The drive was very rocky. Would you believe the snow filled in the spaces of the trail the first time? Charles Wells now rates it difficult, moderate a few years ago. That was several years ago, and I haven't been back, exploring other 4x4 passes in the San Juans. BTW, I was born and grew up in Colorado, still so much to see.

I live in North Carolina in the Appalachian Mountains, it's Beautiful. My trip to Colorado to stay with Casey, I was Blown Away with the views. It made me feel so small in the Grand Scheme of Life. You footage and presentation of the tip is Amazing. Everyone needs to Experience the Magnetic Glory of Colorado. Thanks for sharing your Awesome Adventures with us.

Hi Mark! Living in the Appalachians must have its own set of joys. The sheer number of mountains and and rivers overwhelms the senses when exploring Colorado. In a good way. Maybe I should say.. fills the senses 🌏. Can't wait to go back!
