Yeah, thats the t3 wanderer. Wanderer is entzyme washed to distress the canvas. Wanderer has dark metal parts, and the normal t3 has brass metal parts. I'd contact the seller and ask if you can change it for the normal t3.

Two completely different models, one is de original and the other one is the wanderer. It supposed to be like that.

I prefer the Classic as on the left. Oddly it appears that the Wanderer, on the right, is more popular.

I’ve heard the quality has changed since switching to china, but a few models still hold true; maybe even still made in Canada. Those sir, however, are two different models. That t3 wanderer with brushed brass id different from the wanderers I have, but it’s supposed different from the t3 classic

Looks like the new one is ‘pre distressed’, like they stonewash jeans. I can wear out my own stuff thanks very much. Weird

Yep, everyone has spotted the difference. It’s a different model, specifically produced to have a worn, weathered look. Worth doing research first though to be fair Tilley seem to play around with the naming of hats on their website which doesn’t help. The weathered one is now labelled ‘vintage’. You can still get a T3 classic (stiff!) model. They’re still the same.

It almost looks like the new hat is the old hat. And the old hat is the new hat. just raise the price and sale garbage.
