It honestly depends on your liking of the texture of yarn. Sometimes I use half cotton and acrylic bc it’s cheaper but soft, but u can use acrylic yarn and wash it after or soak it. You can look up videos on how to soften acrylic yarn. Hope this helped :)

you should use cotton yarn! since acrylic yarn might make you sweat (it depends) ! but you can use any yarn that you'd normally use !

Organic cooton and all types of wool are the best! (also nice for the enviroment). There is also lycocell yarn which is ecofriendly aswell and has a REALLY nice touch to it! Sadly though cottons are pretty stiff, so I'd only recommend it for tops that have lacing in the back, or big sweaters. Outside of that I'd usually just try to find a wool that feels nice on your skin :)
