Okay this actually makes me feel better. I was like damn neurotypicals really be out here crocheting like superman😩 I like how the first girl showed what a long process it was, but at the end she has one piece she's really proud of because she worked so hard on it.

dont worry! most projects are sooo much easier than they seem. ive been crocheting for 3 years and honestly all you need to do is practice! you can do it. i believe in you!

I love videos like this, of people my age crocheting! Like, I learned crochet at 18yo, am now 21 and it's the internet that made me learn that not only my mum, grandma and great-aunts crochet. And also, projects that aren't just for small kids or old people. Like, a CORN BOTTLE BAG!? Who knew, the coolest thing I could think of is a cardigan.

The more you do it the more your hands get comfortable then you’ll even be able to do it without focusing on it a lot

These girls in the videos are probably experienced enough to work very fast. With time and practice, you build up stamina and speed when crocheting. As well as, some of them may be doing it as a business too, so with that they might be crocheting faster than someone who’s not. Also, they might be crocheting for many hours and days on end with little breaks in between. Just things to take into consideration :) But yeah because you’re bigger it might take more time but again, as you go along you’ll build up your speed !! 😊

If all fails crochet 4-6 chains then slip stitch into the first chain and use that ring as ur magic ring :)

Hey ! I think two things can happen , 1- you're not counting your stitches , so you don't know where your row started and where to end it , probably you need to join the last stitch to the first or you don't ( I can't tell that cause i don't know your pattern ) 2nd thing is everytime you insert your hook to make a stitch you're probably not inserting in the V shape ( both sides of the chain , looks like a braid ) you're probably taking only one side and pulling it makes your project even tighter . . these two are the only problem I can think of right now . Hope it helps ! ❤️
