11 years ago my mom passed away,.... In the next 55 days my dad passed away....I saw darkness but I used to listen to this song for 3 years full of depression.. thanks Almighty God I over came all.😭😭

My son passed away 3 yrs ago. Today would have been 23. Thank you Amy Grant for serving the Lord. I grew up listening to you sing all my life. Never did I imagined your service to the Lord would minister to my heart at my life's greatest tragic moment. This song has helped my when I feel lost concerning my son, Pvt. Daniel, US Army.

I pray your son is in heaven with Jesus. I pray He heals the ache in your heart and replaces it with joy. May he bring perseverance and hope into your heart when you think of your boy. You are never lost and never alone. If your son was a child of God, it’s been promised you will see him again. It’s also been promised that he has a new body, through Christ and is not in pain or burdened by earthly woes. Stay strong in the Lord! I should make one small amendment to my original post. It has been promised you will see your son again in heaven if you and he both accepted the Lord into your hearts.

Wow!! How many people gathered together to praise JESUS. I miss this in 2021. Perhaps we'll resume in heaven.

I not a saved chirstian several years ago and I cried and cried asking for GOD to help me out of my situaltion. He answered my prayers and now I am back in my church and haven't looked back... I love Michael Smith songs and when i first heard him sing, I cried and praised the LORD for bringing me back home. His music has always drawn me close to the LORD and I want to also thank my mother, who sacrificed many things in her life, was a strong woman of GOD until she died in 95 of cancer. Thankyou!

There is a special place in heaven for this woman. Her songs have witnessed to so many. Even though she is unaware, she has helped me through so many trials, divorce, breast cancer. I am so grateful that she points others to Christ through her beautiful songs of praise!

Just a little info for anyone who doesn't know and is interested. Amy and Michael wrote this song together in 1983! It is just a classic. So lovely and true! One of her very best!!

I met jesus at 17. Im 60 Hes NEVER left my side or let me down.He is Full of Grace and forgiveness.. lets give Him our best!

Amy Grant sang in my Church in National City California in 1980. Her voice and love for our Lord touched me then as it still does today.

My wife and I chose this as one of the songs for our church wedding exactly 27 years ago. Lovely and most meaningful song.

God never leaves . His spirit is sensitive. Once in a while it all comes together , an amazing presence , his peace. He surrounds us with favour as like a shield .

Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.

Angukato - I was in your shoes not long ago. Its not easy in situations like this but I just returned to the cross. Everything centers around the cross. Understand what truly happened at the cross and you will be okay. God bless you my friend.

I absolutely love Amy Grant Live....The feeling she sings with just touches my heart so deeply. This is one of the first songs that really "GOT" to me when I first started going to church so it is special to me.
