@@t1000v20 used to love DT as a kid. Listening to them now, they are PAINFULLY boring. Every song is the same prolonged wank-fest. And James Labrie will never be able to touch Andy McDermott

@@merces47letifer4 To me at least, DT is like a bunch of musicians showing off their craft and skills, but Threshold are just an awesome, solid BAND that make incredibly good music, so consistently and the standard doesn't really drop. It's always a pleasure to listen to Threshold but a real chore to listen to DT. I know people will say you just dont understand DT, fine, maybe I don't but in my opinion they arent enjoyable and music should actually be that.

@@merces47letifer4 I still listen to a few DT songs mostly from 92 and 94 albums and think they`re truly great and not boring. As for their other stuff I agree. They don`t offer that much in this century but a crazy technique most of the time. I guess Portnoy was the soul of the band. Threshold deserves to be at least as popular as DT for sure.

Im actually surprised how Glynn fits into macs shoes incredibly well. I adore this song soooo fucking much and Glynns performance is incredible! Mac must be so proud wherever he is.

Fantastic band...just discovered them. How can i have missed this? The two key members, producers and main song writers, as well as masters of their instruments, both look like accountants😀

Look for videos from the " Psychedelicatessen" cd. from 94' Glynn Morgan vocals, Karl Groom guitar & Richard West keys were in the band. Much different look..

Amazing performance. I was blown away by this song when I first heard it in high school. Still am.

Oh god this is so amazing, I always thought Glynn was their best singer, and he is came back! I am very happy, the tracks originally recorded by Mac sound incredibly well with his vocals, I alwas knew it would have be like that! Anyway I love Mac vocals as well and I miss him! RIP

Never thought I'd see that also a big Glynn fan, glad he came back!

Had the pleaseure to watch them at the almost sold out Show in Stuttgart. I thought th eenergy was incredible and, damn, Glynn transported an incredible amount of energy during the whole Show. I also had the Chance to have a Little Chat. What an awesome Person. Loveable and 100% enthusiastic about the band. Can't wait to see and meet them again :-D

Who can have forgotten Mac? The guy was incredible. The Mac years are my fav and Subsurface is a masterpiece. The album will stay in the must have of metal, just like dream theater images and words, iron maiden powers lave, Ozzy madman and so on

One of the best bands you can ever see live, if you get a chance guys you must! Just check out Threshold you will have the most amazing experience their songs are amazing on albums but damn live it's a whole other level! Their music was built for live and direct. This gives you a taste of being there, you can't beat it. Never mind Dream Theater these guys will take you to another dimension!

Very happy with Glynn! This masterful song sadly remains very actual. And Threshold is still the best band that relatively far too little people know about. I was happy to see them in Zoetermeer, Netherlands.

The band shouldn't do without live rhythm guitar. His absence is very noticeable in the riffs, while the guitar solos are made

That was the first concert with Glynn back in the band, nowadays he uses to play an additional guitar during the solos. There's another live video of this song where you can see him playing guitar.

I am glad Threshold are still kicking around. I just wish the audio quality of their CDs would improve, so I can enjoy and feel their music more.

+Kees Harrison. Unfortunately there is a lot wrong with them. For starters, ever since Karl groom got hooked into using MIDI and Pro Logics back in 2003 for The critical Mass album, Threshold CDs have a cold, dull and harsh digital sound that lack massively in Dynamic Range and bass presence. My curse and blessing is that I own very good HIFI equipment, so it shows the true Validity of whatever music source you play...think of it as putting your music under a microscope. Legends of the Shire has no bass presence, GM's vocals are so harsh and sibilant. And most of all every track all the time is just one volume or DB range. It is so boring and it is a hard listen even at a reasonable volume level. The mixing and the mastering are really poor. Compare an original pressing of Psychedelicattsen to Legends of the shire with a pair of decent headphones. You'll get an understanding of my feelings real quick. Overall, it is such a shame that Great music gets tarnished this way. :(

Also love Mac but Glynn does pretty good here I feel. His voice works more so on Mac songs than Damian does in my opinion.

I've been in love with Threshold since Wounded Land and they have made numerous great live shows and live recordings. I also love Glynns voice on the albums. But live his voice is just not good enough, I'm sorry to say. I'm unlikely to attend a Threshold concert again, cuz' I fear I will be greatly disappointed. :-(

sorry but.. he's good but he's not Threshold. Mac or Wilson.
