Very happy you liked it. You're in for a treat when and if you go through their catalogue. Some stuff are very proggy, but you'll find many many songs that you'll want to play over and over. They have had two different singers since Mac, they're both very good but Mac is/was my favourite.

Threshold is such a refreshing exception in progmetal. It is very hard not to love them. It is more melody and chorus oriented but still very variable hard rock/metal music. It is refreshingly traditional, 80's vibes are all over but still modern at the same time. A band you can introduce to any rock lover and most of them will approve. A feel good rock band for sure.

I gotta say their new album "Divided Lines" might be the best they've ever done! The first four songs are complete magic and I have come to realize that it's very much because of Glynn Morgan. He is one of those special singers who just has that melting emotional tone that you rarely hear anymore. Reminds me of Roy Khan from Kamelot almost! There is such a cohesive focus and vision throughout Divided Lines and, for me, Glynn Morgan surpasses both Damian & Mac as a singer for Threshold - Glynn is the perfect choice for them now

"Johnny-come-lately" here...Mac died of kidney failure after being in a coma for 4 days due to undisclosed "serious health issues." World's a sadder place without him!

Try the albums core, Hypothetical, Critical Mass, The acoustic sessions, Dead Reckoning and Legends of the Shire. They have gems on all of them.

Pretty good song. I think i like the instruments more in this song. The first guitar riff part reminded me of ”Metal Age” by HammerFall 😛

I like this because it is slower. I'm telling you Leigh. Try X Japan, I.V. it's different but the same. They did this song for the Saw movies.

Mac was the one who really helped define their sound in my opinion . As good as Damian Wilson is, his operatic style didn’t really fit. With Glynn back in though, it’s back to their more “classic” sound. But Mac was just one of the best vocalists around. R.I.P Mac.

Mac had a voice that blends with the instruments like a fine gin with tonic water. One of a kind

Every Album of this underrated Band is a banger. Great musicianship, intelligent lyrics. Sometimes they changed their lead singer. Do "The Rubicon" or "Ashes" from the Album "March of Progress" with the great Singer Damian Wilson. One of my favorite Prog Metal Bands.🇩🇪

🙀 Believing that I am a medium paced metal rocker, this certainly fits the mood with its subtle medium gallops. The vocals stand out for me, while offering a diverse combination of sounds to help to qualify to claim itself prog metal. It is clever in that the prog aspect is never overbearing and does not dominate or take over to drowned the underlining mood that is set throughout. The sound is fresh and I like the production as well.
