Hey there, Fan of Tarnished here. Alex Traynor is the lead vocalist in Tarnished, and I believe Parker is the primary backup vocalist. Also: Check out SDR&R and Cabin Fever by them! Some of my favorites.

Saw them play live last week. Man, I hope he keeps this lineup together as long as he can. They kick ass and Sebastian sounds great. My favorite album from him is Angel Down but I think the songwriting style and variety in this album sounds even more solid and engaging that that. The "okay" songs to me have grown on me. F.U. was one I wasn't crazy about at first but now I can't get enough of it! Vendetta also grew on me a lot. My impression is the first half is loaded with the instant click songs, and the back half is more growers. All around great album in my opinion.

Accurate review Leigh. This is a fun song to listen to, whether walking or driving, it does put some pep in your steps. We do need some light hearted party/anthem songs that can carry us through out our day.

Second single is a bit better, the guitar work is more Joe Bonamassa than Paul Gilbert. I think the band peaked with the song UNDERTOW from 2010.

This is better then the Atlantis Drive album where Mark Boals also is singing. It has more power but the song is a little bit simple.7.5 out of 10. You hear a lot melodic rock these days, but everything is not top notch.

Thought I'd check back after hearing the album and watching your review again. Simply put, fantastic album! Just a great overall sound with pounding drums, crunchy guitars and excellent vocals. For me, definitely enjoying this album more than their last album and feel like this is on par with some of their best stuff. Heavy, melodic, catchy, varied songs and they have their own sound which makes them feel a bit unique to me. Easily my favorite album so far this year although I suspect Kissin Dynamite might have something to say about that in a couple weeks!

I have not heard anything from this album but I guess I will have to get it. Moving house to Scotland in a weeks time so I suppose I better order the album so the first one is from a Scottish band at the new address. Actually, I have heard a track from this. Deffo a buy.

It's what many think now, I think they're the only ones that still sell, Hysteria reached saturation point and younger fans tend to be rockers and want real guitars. Dissapointing they could have been the next AC/DC level band.

Straight forward simple song writing. Musically it's been done before and I'm glad to hear it being done again. And they've added their own touch to make it the outstanding song that it is, simply brilliant. It has a modern complexity whereby if you listen closely, you can hear a lot going on. The beginning of the song set the pace for what's to come. The extended lead solo is a bonus, especially when it goes into the guitar blend. Well done !

Just not the type of vocals I like. And it's not the kind of music I like either for it lacks originality and it feels as though I've heard it before. Still I can appreciate what they are going for.
