Totally understandable! If I can toss my two cents in, personally the content I enjoy most are the album reviews. Albums certainly come out less frequently than just songs so maybe focus more on those and less on song reactions? The song reactions IMO are what gets a bit crazy as it seems like there's new songs coming out every other day lol. That has to be maddening to keep up with! Whatever you decide, thanks for the great content and helping me to discover some new music! Cheers!

Maybe you could just combine album reviews maybe to a monthly or bi-monthly event? Just an idea. Your reviews have helped me discover some great bands so thanks for that. There is so much music out there these days sorting the good from the average is hard work. Thanks for all the great content👍

Totally understand mate, I felt I was overloading myself with so many different things after me and the ex split. It was a great distraction first but I forgot how to sit down and take a breather. Working all week plus a 2 hour commute each way. Then my Saturdays consisted of up in the morning with about six hours sleep if I was lucky, gym then I would be back just in time to get showered and fed before I was off to a gig or something on the night was getting to the point where I was struggling financially due to the cost of it all and still working on that but I was also not getting up until about 1pm Sunday Afternoon just in time to promo my radio show and deal with the chatroom etc on our website. Then 4pm came and I was recording again and I'd have a drink and go to bed at midnight only to be back up at quarter to six Monday morning for the crazy commute I was like a zombie. I'm still doing all that now but I have learned to take a step back and a breather for myself and it feels like the load is halved now and I'm actually bored sometimes lol. But be kind to yourself mate, we will all still be here supporting you and maybe something like a daily schedule for the channel like with the iridiots one day, reactions for another day etc but only like two or 3 would lighten the load for ya and us viewers would still have stuff to watch too. I won't like with my own busy schedule it's hard keeping up with you also so will appreciate this as a viewer too. :) Love ya mate, you've got this!

I can relate Leigh! I have over 400 CDs and 150 LPs and various merch. I have some originals, reissues or new releases I bought weeks or months ago I haven't listened to. I like to go through an LP or CD once or twice at home or in my car and appreciate the music. There is so much great music out there and it's like an overload but not necessarily a bad thing.

Everything is definitely ok my end mate. I appreciate all you do and have done on this channel. I have discovered lots of great bands and songs through this channel too including some on my most played songs and artists this year so far. You need to find a balance that's right for you so you can still enjoy it instead of it taking over and you feeling pressured to do too much. Do things at your own pace as and when you want to, not because you feel you have to. I will still be watching 🤘

My brother.....you have been an absolute M-A-C-H-I-N-E for the last 4 ½ years. I have often wondered how you've kept it up. You are obviously a vampire that never sleeps, because many times I have sent you messages at ridiculously late hours my time / early hours your time and you immediately respond. I can't imagine how you've juggled the channel with the stresses of everyday life. I will never forget the first time I found you on that "Blood From Above" reaction "way back when". I was amused by the profanity and impressed with your passion for the band. I instantly hit the subscribe button and think I was one of the first 50 if memory serves. I can't even remember life before Iridium and can honestly say that my life is better for having you and the channel in it. You are truly a treasured friend and I am eternally grateful to you for allowing me to participate in your channel and your life in general. I was honored to be the first subscriber to be invited to share the screen with you and had no idea that it would turn into what it has. This little International gang of misfits known as the Iridiots has been a blast to be a part of and I am a proud Iridiot for life. G'day Leigh. Your health is the most important item on your list. Sit back, chill, relax, and come back when you feel like it. Your followers will always be there when you decide. Of course we will miss you but you have introduced so much music, especially to those who thought that R&R was dying (the senior citizens out there, including me). Now, we have a treasure trove of fantastic AOR that puts a smile on our faces and can now discover ourselves. Come back on occasions, even on a once a month basis with reactions and reviews combined, just an idea. But in the meantime, brother from another mother, heal yourself and come back better than ever. I saw this coming mate, and I felt it during the reactions which at times became a bit ‘mechanic’. I felt the pressure on your shoulders. Good decision to slow down, and fully appreciate your decision, and I feel for Sarah Spencer and the need for a balanced family life. And needless to say the Iridiots all know how much we love good shows together. Onwards and upwards 🤘😎🤘!

Absolutely. Nothing should come before family and your own physical and mental well-being. I have a wife and three kids and work two jobs, so I completely understand the importance of work/life balance. I do enjoy your reactions and videos very much to offer a fresh opinion and perspective on a lot of the current music coming out (especially with me favorite band ever, Eclipse 🤘🏻), so I always look forward to hearing more from you! Don't blame you mate. It can be quite tough to keep up with ongoing interests and passions like the music scene and especially if ur holding down a full time job too. I struggle to keep up and I only listen to the music. Plus the expense side of it of course. I don't av a vast range of genres like you do to try to consume but I do love my aor, nd melodic hard rock most of all. In only listening to the new stuff. U surely are missing out on classics been an gone nd u shud try to make time to enjoy them if you can. Life is short and the days are too nd trying to cram in lots is tough so chill and enjoy

Slowing down is the right call. Especially if you're not even getting time to listen to the music you like. New music is hard to absorb (for me anyway) so only having time to listen to new stuff would be rough.

You’re 100% correct. There’s too much music and trying to keep up with it all is like trying to push lava back into a volcano. It ain’t gonna happen. It just keeps coming and it spills over until you’re burned out. I agree you should pace yourself…JUST DON’T STOP REACTING TO CHRISTIAN MUSIC! PLEASE. New STRYPER album in September!
