She could have learned it from other kids at the pageant or their mums, even at preschool or wherever she goes to, people are so quick to always blame the parents for everything, when a lot of the time no matter how hard you try to parent a kid in the correct way, they will still learn bad language from somewhere, it just happens, that’s life.

I don't care for these full glitz pageant systems myself. Too overdone and over-the-top on appearance. But if this was "literally child abuse'" then it would literally be illegal to enter children into these events. Legal challenges have been adjudicated on numerous occasions throughout the US, and these pageants simply do not equate to the federal legal definition of child abuse.

@@charliederkrasse1157 Emotional abuse -- just like physical abuse or even sexual abuse -- is a criminal offense. If pageants involved the emotional abuse of children, like so many people claim, they would be illegal. Hey I don't agree with pageant moms trying to live vicariously through their child's eyes. But at the end of the day, just like cheer, dance, volleyball, basketball, etc .etc., it's a competitive lifestyle. I can think of three teen girls who compete professionally in pageants all over the US, and all three make a comfortable six figures a year -- and two of the girls are not even old enough to drive yet. These girls love pageants. It's a way of life for many. But just like I'd tell anybody, if you know of a kid being abused -- on any level -- you have an moral obligation to report it.

The clothes, makeup, hair and dance routines are obviously meant to make them look like adults and thats just wrong.

Dior Thequeen I understand. When I was your age I became a very good opera singer. I was a prodigy. Which means someone who is very talented at a very young age. I could have become famous. But my parents didn’t put me on tv or anything like that. And now I’m very glad they didn’t. Back then I thought “I can handle it” When you’re a child and you become famous you don’t get the same childhood as other kids. The problem with being a prodigy is that you don’t choose your talent. And if when you’re older you don’t like doing it as much, you feel pressured to keep preforming
