that's the first thing I noticed too. Her little girl fell off, face right on the floor and her ONLY concern was the diaper showing.. SAD

The judge at 4:46 was AMAZING. The first sane person ive seen.. she genuinely was crying because that baby shouldve been taking a nap instead of paraded around on stage. I love her!!

This makes me so sad :(. They’re just little girls they don’t wanna be in fru fru costumes. They’d rather be asleep or drinking a juice box

They have more senses than parents do sometimes. The judges can tell what parents forced their kids into pagentry, or made them do a competition on a day when the child obviously needed rest. My heart broke watching that little girl cry. The mom's mistake was not cancelling her daughters' spot and taking her home to let her rest and have time off.

The judge crying “The poor baby needs to take a nap” is heartbreaking

The last one (Alexis) I don't even think she wants to be on stage, she wants a puppy. Give the girl a damn puppy and leave the pageant world alone 😅🐶

Every kid works hard. There ought to be some parameters. In an ideal world there would be no child pageants. But when we have them, meltdowns, falling, crying everything should be accounted for. It's unfair to kids who wouldn't do these things.

@@justachildofGod the reason they are stuck up and want all the attention is because their parents put them into Toddlers & Tiaras. So they spend their lives comparing their selves to other pretty little girls who are pushed on to the stage wearing revealing dresses and too much makeup for their age.

That little girl kept patiently asking for the puppy and she tried her best when she was on stage. I didn’t see a meltdown or any complaining from her. I felt so bad when she didn’t get the puppy. They’re kids, they won’t nail every routine.

@@JamieYAYme I feel lucky my mom scoffed at pageants and viewed them as a waste of time and money. She saw one episode of T&T and was horrified - she said the moms must be crazy, selfish, or be living vicariously through their children to be putting them through this.

When I was little I loved dressing up like a princess- to play with my friends, in my living room. Not to preform for delusional, abusive adults. This is literally so disgusting. Toddlers need to nap and play, not entertain some lost childhood dream. This is genuinely just so sad. These parents are absolutely without a doubt out if their mind. Imagine, IMAGINE, judging a baby on how they look. And then SHAMING a toddler for having a diaper. This is so sad to watch.

Yes. I watch this all the time, and I’ve seen quite a few kids who can’t even crawl yet. Most of these kids are between 3 to 6 years old though. It’s still shitty regardless though.

imagine being the nurse at someone’s birth and being like “okay we need to run some tests to make sure the baby’s healthy!” and the parents just zoom outta there to take them to a freaking pageant. or imagine when they signed the kid up they said they were “-9 months” because they really just got pregnant for this and nothing else. this show would be so much better if they use those reborn dolls instead of real children.

I could never wake my exhausted child up for this. Not at an age when they can't even express if they even want to be a show pony. Breaks my heart. Let that baby sleep. The only reason I can even think of why they would is money. Whether it be winning it and/or getting a "return on their investment" via titles, I don't know, dealers choice. But either way it's awful. If someone knows another less shitty possible reason I would love to hear it. Because like I said mine is awful.

It's staged, but that doesn't absolve anyone involved in the show's production. Except for the poor kids, of course, since they had no choice in the matter, and I hope none of them end up emulating the Menendez brothers when they're older. :-o And to think TLC was once The Learning Channel... :-(
