Love my Huldra,my wife thinks it’s ugly and stupid,but when I saw it I bought it early still enjoy using it,hit my finger nail a lot,weird but good knife!

I bought a Huldra, rolled a 25% off on the site. 120 for that makes me happy. I'm a big fan of seax knives. I really don't think this is ripping off other designs, the seax has been a staple for centuries. I own a Yeager m, and ordered his civivi exone. Not to mention the Gripper, the Proponent, etc.

I’m really getting into Kizer lately! Love the videos! Love the live stream with Doody and KnifeDope!

Although I would never usually consider a knife with a tip so low, I find the Huldra appealing due to it's clean lines and geometric symmetry. I have only heard the self-defense blade shape info from Jerad, and he only spoke vaguely about it, not specifically this knife. I greatly appreciate you mentioning it in relation to this knife. I hope you will mention best self-defense grips for this knife in your next live stream.👍

I've had the Gavel on my short list for a while now. It's so good-looking and has the lowest profile back flipper, even smaller than the Hedgehog. It's great as both EDC and gentleman's carry. The only reason I don't have it yet is because I'm hoping to snag it on sale for less than $82.

Kizer and miguron my favorite knife companies now. I want the kizer militaw or the black varatas without a coated blade.

I think the blade-to-handle ratio thing is like when I feel miffed that something I was going to buy on sale but I buy it and find out it was a lower price earlier. Even though I got something I wanted/needed, knowing I could’ve gotten a little more still hurts.

Kizer is dropping fire, but they'd better be. Vosteed and Kansept are in the process of owning the industry. I like the Huldra. I'd call it a Seax, which dates back to Roman times.

I agree, the competition is stiff, very stiff...seax is probably the most accurate term as well but the blade itself reminds me of a box cutter razor, it's pretty useful too!

I like them all, but I really like that gavel.

Really like the look of the Huldra, I don't care about the blade/handle ratio. I think Lefty was one of the first to review/unbox this knife and he started this whole nitpicking thing.

He was but he's not alone, there's a lot of people who care about it as an esthetic detail but for me it's just a non issue on an otherwise excellent piece🍻

I have a large Kizer collection, but I just don't like the look of the Huldra. I'll probably pick it up at a reduced price next year.

All 3 are nice knives in my opinion. I don't have any issues with the ratios of the Huldra!

👋 I’m not having any luck with the manix 2 Rex45 . 4 sharpenings at 17.5 per side and it still won’t hold an edge . I read it was like m4 but on my example it’s not even close . Total crap steel and I love my Spydercos except not this one . Not sure what happened with the steel here but yeah , it’s 💩for Spyderco quality steel imho . I wouldn’t just say this

You must have gotten a lemon I wouldn't no how that happens but I have had very good results with mine . Others have had similarly good things to say if you are speaking of the fairly recent GPKnives exclusive Manix 2 LW in DLC finished Rex45 steel with white FRCP handle material. Maybe contact Spyderco to see if you can exchange it. Properly heat treated Rex45 should be extremely nice to use and even maintain and resharpen. I read that rex45 is a high speed steel meaning that it should be able to tolerate higher temperatures without losing its temper. How many times have you sharpened it?

Micarta is trash you pay extra for it.
