Three days to go! Exhausted.

Dealing with chemo rash and a deep tiredness. The end of this round of treatment cannot come soon enough.
BACKSTORY:
From Wednesday the second of August through to Tuesday the eighth of August, I was in hospital having, and then recovering, from surgery to remove a brain tumor.
EMAIL : storyofjanesbrain@gmail.com
I am fighting this from my end with an extremely low carbohydrate healthy ketogenic diet, exercise, and minimising stress.
If anyone has any helpful tips or success stories related to this approach, please comment or send me an email.
AUG 2 2023 - Diagnosed with brain tumor
AUG 4 2023 - Surgery to remove brain tumor
SEP 14 2023 to OCT 30 - Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy
NOV - 4 weeks without treatment, followed by an MRI
DEC 2023 - MAY 2024 - Six months of taking a stronger chemotherapy pill five days per month
On August 2nd 2023, after experiencing increasingly severe symptoms, I was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma brain tumor.
On August 4th I had surgery to remove the tumour. They believe they removed ninety-five percent of it, so I will need chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
For six weeks, from September 14, I will undergo five-days-a-week of precision radiation treatment at the same time as a chemo pill. This will be followed by four weeks of no treatment. Then I will have an MRI, before resuming six months of further treatment in which I will be taking a chemo pill for five days each month. This pill will be three times stronger than the one I took during radiation.
I will be documenting the whole thing here, so if you know anyone who might get something out of it, please share my videos.

I remember, back in the day after my 2nd cancer, that radiotherapy exhausted me. I had 30 days and it got worse towards the end. Like you say, don't fight it. 3 to go!! Go Jane.

Even being so exhausted we can all see your determination and fight. You’re just about there and doing so great! Just 72 more hours! You got this Jane! -Chris

It’s in the AM here Boscoh, and it’s hot. Treatment’s done for the day, so I’m in an air conditioned shopping centre looking for comfortable clothing. Sitting recuperating from the drain on my energy caused simply by digesting a meal, and the small walk I’ve done in here. Sleeping through a chunk of those 72 hours is the upside of this deep tiredness. Thanks for your continuing support. Take care.

Jane, I can see how your treatment is beating you down, but you're almost at the finish line. You can DO THIS. Hang in there, people all over the world are cheering you on! Best wishes from Texas 💙

Thank you Julia! I’m in deep rest mode right now. Too tired to even be sad or worried, which is good.

My heart goes out to you ~ I pray for God’s balm of Gilead over , in, and through you. The Holy Spirit is helping me to tell you right now. I’m going through some things as well and I’ve never even got to the point where I can get therapy by earthly doctors in this remote rural setting. When there’s nothing in the world to help, God is there for us. He’s the great physician. He has healed me in the past from something that a Mayo Clinic doctor had given up on me and sent me home with a suction machine. I still do suffer some things, but I always seem to survive, and that is on God. I pray you can find comfort with Jesus even more than I ever have .🌷🕊✨

I’m starting to think I’m going through this for a reason. Are their higher powers at play here? Yes. It feels like it. We’ll see. Thank you for your prayers.

No I don’t. But I haven’t had a problem with my blood pressure so far. My “bloods” have been good throughout as well.
