I just got my results back 2 weeks ago. I’m the opposite and of you: I read the radiology report first and then look at the images so I can use my 15 minutes with the doctor as meaningfully as possible. My brain looked about the same. The doctor spent the whole time scolding me over my 1 week water and electrolyte fast. Turns out he was right, my white counts were low, so I couldn’t get my 6th round of chemo, not to mention I was tremendously weak and uncoordinated (could barely walk). After that I said Fucck It, and started eating normally again (including carbs)-unfortunately I also stopped checking my GKI at this point-I’m finally feeling back to pretty much normal after 1 week. We shall see if I pay for my sins…
@JaneWhiteheadBrainStory7 күн бұрын
Wow you really went for it with that fast! It’s hard not to do something extreme when you have cancer though. I mean, if it helps slow or stop tumour growth, it’s worth it. Who the hell knows. I applaud your commitment to helping yourself. You probably didn’t do any long term harm. Stay strong. Get some healthy fats into ya. I’m into blue cheese right now. Can’t get enough.
@CB437 күн бұрын
I just want to get into the best physical shape of my life. Can you imagine how great the insulin resistance is in those top-tier cross fitters? And when they do eat carbs it would jump right into muscle glycogen. I wonder what their fasting blood glucose is. I see you out and about hiking in your videos so that’s great!

@JaneWhiteheadBrainStory20 күн бұрын
@CB43 I am fortunate in that I’ve never had a seizure. I wasn’t allowed to drive for 6 months after surgery due to a risk of seizures, but I think that’s just a blanket ban for anyone who’s had brain surgery. Seizures are horrible and can be weird and sudden, so like you I’d be hesitant to come off meds if I’d had them. I hope you never ever have a seizure again ❤️
